摘要： A fluid supply connector for connecting a plurality of fluid lines from fluid supply sources to a medical handpiece is described. The connector includes a plurality of inlet ends, each to be connected with a fluid line extending from a fluid supply source, an outlet end to be connected with a fluid line extending toward a medical handpiece, and a plurality of fluid passages each connecting one of the inlet ends to the outlet end. At least one of the plurality of fluid passages has a check valve provided therein for preventing flow of fluid back to the inlet ends. The connector facilitates changing of a fluid to be injected through the tip of a handpiece without changing connectors for each fluid.

摘要： The present invention provides eyeglasses including a frame and an arm connectable to the frame. The eyeglasses include a magnetic hinge connecting the arm to the frame. The magnetic hinge includes a first housing having an first inner cavity and a first outer protruding edge having a plurality of extending flanges disposed thereon, a first magnet disposed inside the first housing, a central washer including at least a portion of the central washer having magnetic attraction capabilities, a second housing having a second inner cavity and an inner lip portion radially disposed within the second inner cavity and a second magnet disposed inside the second housing. The magnetic hinge is magnetically held in place by the magnetic attraction between the first magnet and the second magnet via the central washer and the engagement of the extending flanges within the inner lip portion.

An end of the end-piece 8 extends upwards along the pivotal member 6 so as to provide a stopper 9 for a temple 5. A front end of the temple is curved to form a C-shaped arcuate member 10 which rotatably engages with the annular groove 7 in the pivotal member 6. The stopper 9 on the retainer abuts against and stops the arcuate member when it has rotated a predetermined angular distance, such that a joint for attaching eyeglass temples does not need any minute hinge bolts and can be of any shape to improve its ornamental value.

摘要： A quadrature phase-shift keying modulator produces a QPSK signal which is amplified by a power amplifier. The amplitude gain of the power amplifier is controlled in response to an amplitude difference between the QPSK signal output by the modulator and the amplified QPSK signal output by the power amplifier. A phase detector, connected in series between the modulator and the power amplifier, eliminates amplitude variations from the QPSK signal prior to amplification. A voltage-controlled phase shifter, connected in series between the phase detector and the power amplifier, shifts the QPSK signal in phase by an amount responsive to amplitude information in the QPSK signal.

A wave form signal to be transmitted is made smooth during its rise and fall times, thereby making it possible to prevent a transmission spectrum from expanding and interfering with the adjacent channels. The power amplifier system compares an envelope signal of an inputted RF signal and that of an RF signal to be outputted, whereby the power amplifier system as a whole provides linear amplification.

摘要： The present invention relates to a dental head unit capable of measuring a root canal length of a patient. The head unit includes a head section having a sleeve rotatably supported therein for detachably holding a cutting tool therein, a neck section extending proximally from the head section and having a proximal end for connecting to a handpiece body, a contact capable of detachably contacting the cutting tool for providing electric connection to the cutting tool when in contact, and a contact holder fixed to a proximal end of the contact and axially slidable with respect to the neck section. The contact holder has a lead attachment to which a lead for electrically connecting the contact to a root canal length measuring device is detachably attached. The present invention also relates to a contact holder assembly including the contact and the contact holder.
