The power amplification module includes a first gain control current generation circuit which generates a first gain control current changing with a control voltage, a first bias current generation circuit which generates a first bias current according to the first gain control current, a gain control voltage generation circuit which generates a gain control voltage changing with the control voltage, a first transistor which is emitter-grounded and in which an input signal and the first bias current are supplied to a base thereof, and a second transistor which is cascode-connected to the first transistor and in which the gain control voltage is supplied to a base thereof and a first output signal obtained by amplifying the input signal is output from a collector thereof.

Before a fixed gain amplifier is disabled and after an automatic gain controller adjusts gain for the last time, a reference transmit power value is read from the automatic gain controller. A gain level is read from the fixed gain amplifier. The reference transmit power value and the gain level are saved in a storage module. Before the fixed gain amplifier is enabled and after the automatic gain controller adjusts gain for the last time, the reference transmit power value saved in the storage module is written into the automatic gain controller and the gain level saved in the storage module is written into the fixed gain amplifier.

    摘要: In accordance with the present disclosure, disadvantages and problems associated with controlling signal transmission of a wireless communication device may be reduced. In accordance with an example embodiment of the present disclosure a method for controlling transmission of a wireless communication signal comprises sensing one or more signals indicative of a power level of a wireless communication signal. The power level of the wireless communication signal is amplified by a power amplifier according to an amplifier control signal. The method further comprises determining a change in the power level based on the one or more signals indicative of the power level. The change is associated with one or more perturbations of the amplifier control signal. The method also comprises adjusting transmission of the wireless communication signal according to the change in the power level.
