Abstract:
An IP multimedia subsystem (IMS)-based service sharing system includes an IMS, a master IMS terminal registered in the IMS, and a slave IMS terminal not registered in the IMS, wherein the master IMS terminal transmits IMS registration information to the slave IMS terminal by using near field communication (NFC), and the slave IMS terminal is registered in the IMS on the basis of the transmitted IMS registration information.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for providing a community service based on proximity, the method including: searching for an access point (AP) provided at a specific place and having a wireless LAN identifier assigned for the event through a wireless terminal of the host, and requesting a connection to a network by inputting a security key; when the request is accepted, generating, by a service platform receiving information about the generation of the community, a community for the event through an application installed in the wireless terminal of the host, and transmitting a community ID specifying the community for the event to the application; transmitting a request for participation in the community for the event to the service platform together with participant information input through the application and the community ID; and when the request for the participation is accepted in the service platform, transmitting a participant ID to the application.
Abstract:
A method of controlling the codec mode of a convergence internet protocol (IP) network and a terminal using the method are provided. The terminal may include a variable bit-rate/mode codec controller including a channel status measurement and management (CSMM) unit which measures the status of a wireless channel and provides the results of the measuring of the wireless channel status as channel quality information, and which measures the transfer performance of a received packet and provides the results of the measuring of the packet transfer performance as packet measurement parameter information, and a service quality control (SQC) unit which measures the quality of a multimedia service based on the channel quality information and the packet measurement parameter information, provides the results of the measuring of the multimedia service quality as service quality information and determines a codec mode of the terminal or a counterpart terminal communicating with the all-IP terminal based on the service quality information. Therefore, it is possible to improve the quality of multimedia services.
Abstract:
A method for configuring a service function path (SFP) for a software defined network (SDN) based service function chain (SFC) may comprise configuring a SFC which is a set of ordered service functions (SFs) by reflecting requirements of a flow flowing into a network; generating a primary SFP that is a path through which the flow is to be actually transmitted in the network according to the SFC; generating a secondary SFP against an error of the primary SFP; and controlling a transmission path through which the flow is transmitted to be at least one of the primary SFP and the secondary SFP.
Abstract:
Provided is a distributed service function (SF) forwarding system that applies the corresponding service function chain (SFC) to traffic classified by a plurality of service network (SN) controller instances based on an SN overlay structure. Therefore, by selectively combining and executing necessary network functions (SFs) according to a path and traffic made up of defined component services, it is possible to dynamically configure and control one network service.
Abstract:
A cloud service broker apparatus and method thereof are provided. The cloud service broker apparatus includes a controller configured to provide a brokerage service between a plurality of cloud service providers and a cloud service user by dividing a cloud service requested by the cloud service user into a plurality of cloud service segments and distributing each of the cloud service segments to each of the clouds.
Abstract:
In order to provide service capability management to a service application server that is connected to a user terminal through a network, a service capability management apparatus receives a service capability management request of a communication network resource from the service application server. The service capability management apparatus transmits a request processing result including a uniform resource locator (URL) that is related to a processing result of a corresponding communication network resource to a service application server according to the request. The service capability management apparatus communicates with the service application server through an open interface using a representational state transferful (RESTful) web service.
Abstract:
An individual IMS terminal acquires address and place information of a service discovery server present in the local IP network from an AP. Next, the individual IMS terminal may query the service discovery server to find out an SIP URL address of a sharing IMS terminal. When the individual IMS terminal finds out the sharing IMS terminal, its own IMS subscription information is transmitted to the sharing IMS terminal. The sharing IMS terminal is dynamically registered in the IMS depending on the received IMS subscription information. When the process ends, the sharing IMS terminal has the same IMS subscription information as the individual IMS terminal, such that the session mobility control provided by the IMS may be applied as it is.
Abstract:
An access control management apparatus and method for open service components are provided. The access control management apparatus may include a header extractor configured to extract a header from a request message for a service component which is received from an application, an authentication manager configured to authenticate a permission of the application for the service component using an application ID, a service key for the service component and an authorization code which are included in the header, and a history manager configured to store an execution result of the service component if the permission is authenticated.
Abstract:
When a workspace management apparatus for a group receives a request message for group management from a client terminal, the workspace management apparatus manages a group in a first service according to the request message and requests workspace management for a group from a plurality of servers that each provides other services different from the first service.
