Disclosed is semantic frame operation, and disclosed are a text big data based semantic frame operating method including: collecting a predicate to be used as a semantic frame seed; configuring a synonym set for the collected predicate; collecting one or more examples in text big data in association with predicates included in the synonym set; extracting a semantic frame candidate by attaching a semantic case to the collected examples; performing error verification for the semantic frame candidate; and storing the semantic frame candidate subjected to the error verification as an extended semantic frame for the predicate, and an electronic device supporting the same.
Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus for analyzing an event time-space correlation in a social web media and an operating method thereof. The apparatus includes a collection unit configured to collect a text type of document data from the social web media, a storage unit configured to store an event keyword indicating an event and event-related information including event time-space information corresponding to the event keyword, an extraction unit configured to linguistically analyze the document data to extract the event keyword and the event-related information associated with the event keyword from the document data based on a result of the linguistic analysis, and an output unit configured to receive the event keyword and event-related information and convert the received event keyword and event-related information into visual information and output the visual information.

Abstract:
A system and method for constructing a morpheme dictionary based on an automatic extraction of a non-registered word is provided. A non-registered word is automatically extracted based on a language-independent non-registered word automatic extraction method, and performance of a dictionary and a morpheme analysis is verified based on an automatic estimation by constructing a morpheme dictionary based on the automatically extracted non-registered word. Since the morpheme dictionary is constructed using only a dictionary in which a final verification is passed and it is helpful to improve the performance, the morpheme analysis can be properly performed on the non-registered word of a new field or a new word which newly appears as time passes.

Disclosed is an apparatus for providing an accurate automatic language translation service. A user terminal according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes a display unit to display a translation option setting menu for a user with respect to a source sentence of which a category is designated and to be translated; a user input unit to receive, from the user, an input on setting of a translation option; a communication unit to transmit the translation option to a translation server, and to receive a translation result from the translation server; and a control unit to control operations of the display unit, the user input unit, and the communication unit. According to the present invention, a translation service for multilingual multimedia through a natural styled highly precise automatic translation is enabled.

A natural language question answering system and method, and a paraphrase module are provided. The natural language question answering system includes a conversion module configured to generate a plurality of modified questions by paraphrasing a user's question; a plurality of question answering engines configured to receive each of the user's question and the modified questions, and select candidate answers corresponding to each of the user's question and the modified questions; and a detection module configured to detect at least one among the selected candidate answers as an answer.

Provided are a system and method for answering a natural language question which show improved information retrieval performance. The system includes an index unit configured to analyze text of previously stored irregular documents and classify and index the irregular documents according to meanings of sentences or paragraphs, a database configured to receive and store the irregular documents indexed according to the meanings and transmitted from the index unit, a retrieval unit configured to extract an index word by semantically analyzing an input question and search the database for documents related to the extracted index word, and a provision unit configured to generate a correct answer to the question by analyzing the documents searched by the retrieval unit and provide the search results and the correct answer.

Provided are an opinion analyzing system and method that analyze an opinion change based on an elapse of time and provide an analysis result. The opinion analyzing system includes a user terminal configured to transmit an opinion analysis request signal including an opinion analysis target keyword and analysis target period information, and an opinion analyzing server configured to, when the opinion analysis request signal is received from the user terminal, collect text information including the opinion analysis target keyword from a database according to the opinion analysis request signal, and analyze the collected text information to generate a summary text of an opinion.

An apparatus for managing risk in social web media in a prediction-based manner is provided, and includes a risk vocabulary management unit, which extracts and manages vocabulary to be managed as pertaining to risk from social web content, a risk issue prediction analysis quality extraction unit, which performs language analysis and sensitivity analysis, a risk prediction modeling unit, which models risk prediction analysis, a risk detection and notification unit, which automatically detects and notifies the risk, a risk situation monitoring unit, which monitors in real time a risk state of a risk entity when an alarm is raised with respect to the detected risk, and a risk history management unit, which receives user feedback for monitored risk information and manages a record of a terminated risk situation.

An apparatus and method for updating a language analysis result are provided. The apparatus includes a storage unit configured to store language analysis result and language analysis metadata to be used for update of the language analysis result, and an update unit configured to reanalyze the language analysis metadata based on language knowledge which is added to language knowledge resources, and update the language analysis result based on the reanalyzed result.
