摘要: A method for producing meal containing mannose, wherein powder particles containing cellulose and/or hemicellulose is mixed with the wet composition obtained by having a mannnan degrading enzyme function to Arecaceae plant-derived meals such as copra meal and/or palm kernel meal followed by the drying process. Production rate of mannose is increased by causing reaction under high level of water content, in addition to which drying efficiency is increased by mixing hygroscopic fiber materials to the wet composition, an enzymic reactant, and thus meal containing mannose can be produced with high efficiency and good economical performance.

摘要: Mannose-containing palm kernel meal obtained by functioning a mannan degrading enzyme or an acidic catalyst to palm kernel meal. Mannose can be produced at a high yield by using palm kernel meal which is highly resourceful. An extraction process is not necessarily required in using free mannose effectively so that enzymically treated palm kernel meal containing the degradation product may be used untreated. It may be dried or extracted if necessary.

摘要: The present invention is to provide a β-1,4-mannobiose-containing composition which can inhibit colonization of salmonella in animal body and effectively excrete salmonella outside the body and the method for producing thereof, a feed additive containing the β-1,4-mannobiose-containing composition, and a feed blended with the β-1,4-mannobiose-containing composition. The present invention is intended to provide a method for producing the β-1,4-mannobiose-containing composition wherein a mannan degrading enzyme is functioned to a mannan-containing natural material for producing at least 10% by weight of β-1,4-mannobiose based on the mannan before the degradation, the β-1,4-mannobiose-containing composition prepared through the function of a mannan degrading enzyme to a mannan-containing natural material, which contains at least 10% by weight of β-1,4-mannobiose in terms of dry matter, a feed additive containing the β-1,4-mannobiose-containing composition, and a feed blended with the β-1,4-mannobiose-containing composition.

摘要: It is intended to obtain a food material which contains a mannooligosaccharide and can be used in a wide range of application by a simple method. A mannooligosaccharide-containing food composition is obtained by taking endosperms out of coconut fruits, subjecting slurry obtained by grinding the endosperms to solid-liquid separation thereby to obtain a solid, defatting the obtained solid until the oil and fat content becomes 1% by weight or less, and performing a treatment so as to hydrolyze mannan contained in the defatted solid, or in the case where the defatting treatment is not performed, allowing a mannan-degrading enzyme which does not substantially have a lipase activity to act on the solid.

摘要: The gist of the present invention resides in a mannose-containing copra meal composition obtained by allowing two enzymes, xylanase and &bgr;-galactomannan, to act on copra meal, and in a method for preparing the same, in which mannose can be liberated efficiently and economically by combining the two enzymes. A decreasing effect against Salmonella is expected at an economical cost, by adding into feeds the mannose-containing copra meal composition according to the present invention or mannoses obtained from the composition by extraction.

摘要: A flavor oil comprising a fat or oil and an oil-soluble component derived from a sugar-heat treated dairy product powder which is obtained by subjecting a mixture of 1 to 20 parts by weight of a reducing sugar and 100 parts by weight of the dairy product powder to a heat treatment in the presence of 1 to 15% by weight of water is used as a flavor oil. The oil soluble component can be produced by dipping the above sugar-heat treated dairy product powder in a fat or oil, subjecting the resultant product to a heat treatment at a temperature of 90.degree. to 150.degree. C. under reduced pressure of not higher than 60 mmHg, and then removing solids.
