    Abstract: An inverted heat exchanger device includes an exterior conduit elongated and extending around a center axis between a first end and second end. The exterior conduit including a body having an exterior surface, an interior surface, a center core elongated along the center axis, and plural walls extending between the center core and the interior surface. A first conduit is disposed inside the exterior conduit that includes an inlet, plural core passages, an outlet, and internal manifolds. A first fluid is configured to flow along the first conduit. A second conduit is also disposed inside the exterior conduit. The second conduit includes an inlet, plural core passages, an outlet, and internal manifolds. A second fluid is configured to flow along the second conduit. The plural walls are configured to define the first conduit and the second conduit within the body of the exterior conduit.

    Abstract: A computer program product comprising a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions, that when executed by a computer processor, cause the computer processor to perform obtain a model defining a geometry of a component for manufacturing using an additive manufacturing system, discretize the geometry of the component into a plurality of voxels, each voxel representing a volumetric portion of the component, identify voxels of the plurality of voxels having a value of stress greater than a threshold value, determine regions of the component contributing to the identified voxels having the value of stress greater than the threshold value through a build process simulation configured to iteratively simulate modifications to voxels of the component so that the value of stress of the identified voxels is reduced, modify the geometry of the regions of the component, and store an updated model of the component incorporating the modifications to the geometry.

    Abstract: A component has a first structural configuration and a second structural configuration. The component includes a sensor assembly including a plurality of interconnected structural members defining a plurality of load paths. A first structural member and a second structural member define a first load path when the component is in the first structural configuration. The first structural member and a third structural member define a second load path when the component is in the second structural configuration. The second load path is configured to bypass the second structural member. The sensor assembly is configured to detect a characteristic of the component that changes when the component switches between the first structural configuration and the second structural configuration.
