摘要: A stacked heat exchanger has a high temperature layer with a number of channels into which a high temperature-side fluid is introduced; and a low temperature layer superposed on the high temperature layer having a number of channels into which a low temperature-side fluid is introduced at a temperature lower than the temperature of the high temperature-side fluid. Each channel of the low temperature layer has an upstream-side part in which at least some of the low temperature-side fluid evaporates by being heated by the high temperature-side fluid flowing within the high temperature layer; and a downstream-side part in which the low temperature-side fluid that has evaporated in the upstream-side part is heated by the high temperature-side fluid flowing within the high temperature layer. The upstream-side parts of the low temperature layer occupy a total area smaller than a total area of the downstream-side parts of the low temperature layer.

摘要: A brazed plate heat exchanger (100) includes a plurality of first and second heat exchanger plates (110, 120), wherein the first heat exchanger plates (110) are formed with a first pattern of ridges and grooves, and the second heat exchanger plates (120) are formed with a second pattern of ridges and grooves providing contact points between at least some crossing ridges and grooves of neighbouring plates under formation of interplate flow channels for fluids to exchange heat, said interplate flow channels being in selective fluid communication through port openings. The first pattern of ridges and grooves is different from the second pattern of ridges and grooves, so that an interplate flow channel volume on one side of the first heat exchanger plates (110) is different from an interplate flow channel volume on the opposite side of the first heat exchanger plates (110), and at least some of the ridges and grooves of the first pattern extend in a first angle (β1) and at least some of the ridges and grooves of the second pattern extend in a second angle (β2) different from the first angle (β1).

摘要: Electrochemical cell battery system and associated methods of operation are provided based on the incorporation of a thermal suppression construct including a supply of cooling fluid dispensed in intimate contact with the cells disposed within an enveloping sealed enclosure. The electrochemical cells are connected electrically by bus bars to form a battery of cells. The bus bars support cooling by convection methods. The cells are allowed to float mechanically as they are charged and discharged while maintaining intimate thermal contact with the enveloping sealed enclosure through conduction and the bus bars through conduction. The system provides a method of cooling the cells by conduction and convection and that accommodates mechanical changes to both the cells and the enveloping sealed enclosure.

摘要: A refrigerant channel of a heatsink includes an upwardly inclined channel formed by a side wall for downstream side of a first protruding portion and a side wall for upstream side of a second protruding portion. The upwardly inclined channel directs a flow of the refrigerant toward a base portion of the fin and causes the refrigerant to flow into the fin region, because of which more refrigerant flows to the base portion than to a leading end portion of the fin, and a high heat dissipating performance is obtained. Also, the fin is a columnar body whose sectional form perpendicular to a central axis is a regular hexagon, has rounded portions in corner portions, and has tapers on side faces. Six fins are disposed neighboring one fin, and a distance between fins is constant. Because of this, the heat dissipating performance further improves, and pressure loss can be reduced.

摘要: A heat exchanger includes a main body provided with first flow paths through which a first fluid flows and second flow paths through which a second fluid flows. Each first flow path includes an integrated part, a buffer part, and a divided part arranged in this order from an inlet of the main body. The integrated part includes a first flow path space defined by a peripheral wall including a pair of mutually facing partition walls. The buffer part includes a deformed flow path space formed by deforming the first flow path space such that first displacement parts or each of multiple pairs of first displacement parts provided at intervals on the pair of partition walls approach each other. The divided part includes multiple divided flow path spaces formed by dividing the first flow path space by connecting the first displacement parts of each pair to each other.
