摘要: The present invention relates to a novel bioreactor system for cell cultivation. More specifically, the invention relates to a compact bioreactor system which has several integrated functions and enables small scale static culture as well as scale-up rocking culture in the same bioreactor. The bioreactor system comprises tray for positioning of a cell culture bag having adjustable volume, a lid covering the cell culture bag and provided with heating function, an integrated perfusion unit, an integrated cell loading unit, and an integrated unit for automatic cell culture sampling, wherein the bioreactor system is controlled by a single control unit. The invention also relates to a method of cell culture using the bioreactor system for culture of therapeutic cells.

摘要: Disclosed is a cell culture system comprising a first cell culture bioreactor system (10) for culturing cells to a predetermined cell density or quantity, the system including a bioreactor volume (20), a process controller (30), process control devices (32) which provide inputs (16) for the culture volume and culture parameter measurement devices (14), wherein the process controller is operable according to plural control program steps to control the process devices to provide inputs for a suitable cell culture environment in the bioreactor volume, and is further operable according to control program steps modified by feedback values from the culture parameter measurement devices, and comprises a memory (36) operable to record data indicative of the progress of the control program steps. Failure of the system can be rectified by moving the bioreactor volume to another similar system which has access to data indicative of any incomplete program steps which steps may have been modified by feedback from the measurement devices.

摘要: The present invention relates to a mixing system for a bioreactor, comprising a plurality of supply units (10), each being able to hold media for use in a bioreactor a mixing unit (30) for creating a uniform mixing of media a first feeding mechanism (20), arranged to feed media from the supply units (10) into the mixing unit (30), a control unit (40) operatively connected to the first feeding mechanism (20) and the mixing unit (30), said control unit (40) being configured to control the first feeding mechanism (20) to feed predetermined amounts of media from the plurality of supply units (10) to the mixing unit (30), and further being configured to control the mixing unit (30) to create a uniform mixing of media. The invention also relates to a method for mixing media for use in a bioreactor.
