摘要: Groups of consenting users such as families can track where other members of the same group are under agreed upon access arrangements. The locating system can operate in a passive mode. Users do not have to actively sign-in or check-in to the locating system for the locating system to obtain individual location determination estimates. The locating system collects communications device usage information from a plurality of communications networks, e.g., landline, cellular, Wi-Fi, DSL. The locations of communication devices and infrastructure are known. Members of locating groups are associated with various communication devices detected are being used. Approximate locations of an individual member or members of a locating group are inferred from detected device usage information. A location report is generated, e.g., in a map, table, or audio format, indicating the determined location of individuals, and optionally including time tags. The report is provided to authorized members of the locating group.

摘要: A luminescent solar concentrator (10) is disclosed. The luminescent solar concentrator (10) has a light guide (12) defined at least in part by a reflector (14). It has a plurality of light absorbing centers (24) located in the light guide. The light absorbing centers (24) are configured to absorb sunlight (25) instant on the light guide (12). There are a plurality of light emitting centers (26) located in the light guide (14). Each of the plurality of light emitting centers (26) are capable of emitting light (18) after at least some of the energy of the absorbed sunlight (25) is transferred (28) from a respective one of the light absorbing centers (24). Each of the plurality of light emitting centers (26) are orientated relative to the reflector (14) to enhance the proportion of light emitted by the respective light emitting center (26) that is reflected by the reflector (14) and so guided within the light guide (12).

摘要: A bowling-ball cleaning pad that removes residue from a bowling ball includes a first debris-collecting layer, a second debris-collecting layer, and at least one liquid-absorbing layer. The at least one liquid-absorbing layer is sandwiched in between the first debris-collecting layer and the second debris-collecting layer. The first debris-collecting layer, the second debris-collecting layer, and the at least one liquid-absorbing layer are coextensive with each other. The first debris-collecting layer and the second debris-collecting layer are perimetrically connected to each other. Depending upon different embodiment of the bowling-ball cleaning pad, the at least one liquid-absorbing layer can absorb only oil, only water, or water and oil.

摘要: A Joint Combined Aircrew Systems Tester (JCAST) that can be used to test aircrew integrated life support equipment currently authorized for use by aircrew members of the Air Force, Navy and Army. The JCAST will be capable of Chemical/Biological seal testing of all the Joint Service Aircrew Mask (JSAM) variants including the Type 2 JSAM for high performance aircraft. Like traditional Testers, the JCAST is capable of Performance and Fit Testing of masks at pressure levels, including COMBAT EDGE (Combined Advanced Technology Enhanced Design “G” Ensemble), consistent with aircraft supply levels. The JCAST provides an apparatus and technique for accurately measuring a leak rate for an elastic body such as a chemical mask at 0.5 sccm at 6 IWG. The JCAST is portable and light weight while providing novel leak testing using pressure decay.

摘要: The invention broadly comprises a method for processing work flow regarding a medical visit including the steps identifying the selection, in an electronic medical records system (EMRS), of a condition during the visit and displaying a treatment plan regarding the condition. In some aspects, the selection is regarding treatment, documentation, or billing. In some aspects, the method at least partially populates a library from a first standard of treatment or with data from the EMRS. In some aspects, the method accepts an editing input and modifies the treatment plan in response to the editing input. In some aspects, the treatment plan designates a guideline as a default guideline. In some aspects, the method generates at least one code set value regarding the condition and communicates the at least one code set value to the EMRS for use in prepopulating at least one data entry form.

摘要: A bumper for use at a loading dock has two ranges of front-to-back movement: one range for sealing the gap that might otherwise exist between the rear edge of a truck and the front face of the bumper and a second range for absorbing the impact of the truck backing into the dock. In some cases, a spring provides a relatively light sealing force between the bumper and the truck, and a compressible core provides a much greater impact-absorbing force that helps stop the rearward movement of the truck. In some embodiments, the bumper pivots by gravity when operating in the sealing range.

摘要: A method (1500) of generating a representation of a page (1000) to be rendered is disclosed. The page (1000) comprises one or more graphic objects (1080, 1090), each being defined by two or more edges bounding a fill. The method (1500) operates by partitioning the page (1000) into a plurality of regions, each region having a corresponding sequence of fills adapted to be composited to generate a colour for each pixel location within the region upon rendering. Then, the representation is generated such that at least two regions reference a common fill sequence.
