Abstract: In some examples, a flow conduit transports a material between locations in a three-dimensional (3D) printing system. A controllable valve controls gas communication to the flow conduit. A pressure chamber receives an increase in pressure while the controllable valve is in a restricted flow position, and the controllable valve when actuated to an open position directs a burst of gas at an elevated pressure built up in the pressure chamber to the flow conduit to disturb the material in the flow conduit.

Abstract: According to examples, a 3D printing system may include a feed line to receive build material particles from a material bin, an air pressure generator to generate airflow inside the feedline to move the build material particles through the feedline, and a cyclone separator to receive the airflow and the build material particles from the feed line and to separate the build material particles from the airflow. The cyclone separator may include a chamber wall, a build material particle discharge opening, and a tapered wall connecting the chamber wall and the build material particle discharge opening. In addition, a ratio between a diameter of the chamber and a diameter of the discharge opening may be between about 1.5 and about 4.0.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to different mixtures of build materials deliverable during a three dimensional (3D) print operation. In some examples, a 3D print apparatus may include a delivery hopper to deliver build material to a print zone of the 3D print apparatus and a plurality of build material hoppers to which the delivery hopper is connected for receipt of at least one of a corresponding plurality of build materials. A controller of the 3D print apparatus may direct that variable proportions of a first build material relative to a second build material are receivable by the delivery hopper from the plurality of build material hoppers during the 3D print operation, where different mixtures of the variable proportions of the first build material and the second build material are deliverable to the delivery hopper during the 3D print operation.
