In an example implementation, a display control layer for a display device comprises a first set of channels filled with a first electrochromic material to control a view angle of a display from the display device, and a second set of channels filled with a second electrochromic material to control absorption of blue/ultraviolet (UV) light from the display device. Each adjacent pair of channels of the second set sandwiches a channel of the first set.
