A bypass diode (50) has a mesa bear chip diode (51) and a pair of conductor plates (52) connected with the bear chip diode (51) while holding the bear chip diode (51) therebetween. The respective conductor plates (52) are superimposed on terminal plates (30) juxtaposed on a base plate (11) along their plane direction, and ultrasonic vibration is applied to each superimposed portion (60) to join it with the corresponding terminal plate (30). The conductor plates (52) include an N-conductor plate (52A) that is thicker than a P-conductor plate (52B).

    摘要: A cable connector is provided that can accomplish routing of cables in a narrow space in connecting solar cell modules to each other. A plurality of solar cell modules having solar cells embedded in a building material are installed on a base board. A positive cable and a negative cable extend from the solar cell module. A first connector is connected to a an end of one cable. A second connector is connected to an end of the other cable. The first connector and the second connector have a flat outer configuration and are connected to each other, with a thickness direction of the first connector and that of the second connector substantially coincident with each other. Each of the first connector and the second connector is connected to the respective flat cable with a thickness direction of the connector substantially coincident with that of the flat cable.

A connector for making electrical connection to an external connection member in use of the panel is mounted on the periphery of the superimposed plates. To achieve a compact and simple construction, one-piece strip metal electrical conductor members have first ends located between the superimposed plates and electrically connected to the solar energy cells and second ends which protrude from the periphery and are held in a housing of the connector. Heat discharged from a heat discharging surface (40A) of the heat discharging sheet (40) is received by a heat receiving surface (90A) of the solar battery module (90) via a through hole (11B) formed in the base plate (11) and is discharged efficiently from the solar battery module (90).

    摘要: A by-pass diode includes a first lead plate and a second lead plate respectively arranged on the top face and the bottom face of a rectifier laminate and extending therefrom in opposite directions in parallel relation to each other. The first lead plates is made thinner than the second lead plate. The first lead plate includes a rectangular body portion and a head portion extending from one end face of the rectangular body portion and connected to the rectifier laminate. The head portion further includes a reduced neck portion. The first lead plate has slits in the zone adjacent the head and neck portions connected to the rectifier laminate, the slits being notched deeply width-wise, alternately from each longitudinal side of the rectangular body portion. The by-pass diode is incorporated into a terminal housing for solar battery modules. In such a terminal housing, the link portions connecting the rectifier laminate to the lead plates are prevented from delamination, even under severe use conditions.
