Abstract: This application discloses a method for processing a round trip delay, a related apparatus, and a readable storage medium, and pertains to the field of communications technologies. The method includes: receiving a delay quantization parameter of a common round trip delay RTD, where the delay quantization parameter includes a first quantization parameter, and the first quantization parameter is used to indicate a height-related delay; and obtaining the common RTD based on the delay quantization parameter. The height-related delay is indicated by using the first quantization parameter, so that the common RTD is obtained based on the first quantization parameter.

The satellite sequentially performs beam scanning on the beam positions in the first beam position group by using a first broadcast beam corresponding to the first beam position group.

Abstract: This application provides a random access method, an apparatus, and a system, which are applied to the field of communication technologies. The random access method provided in this application includes: First, a terminal device obtains first configuration information, where the first configuration information indicates a maximum quantity of repeated sending times of a preamble, and the maximum quantity of repeated sending times of the preamble is greater than 200. Then, the terminal device sends one or more preambles to a network device based on the first configuration information. According to the method, a current maximum quantity of repeated sending times of the preamble is extended, so that a decoding threshold for decoding the preamble by the network device is reduced, and a low uplink budget requirement of some scenarios can be met.
