    Abstract: This application provides a method for returning from a low-standard network to a high-standard network, to resolve a problem that a primary card of a terminal device in dual SIM dual standby single pass mode cannot return to the high-standard network after falling back from the high-standard network to the low-standard network during a data service. The method includes: detecting that a first subscriber identification module SIM card of the terminal device falls back from a first-standard network to a second-standard network; obtaining a registration status of a second SIM card, where the registration status includes an operator of the second SIM card and a network on which the second SIM card camps, and the first SIM card and the second SIM card enable the terminal device to work in the dual SIM dual standby single pass mode; obtaining a target standard network based on the registration status of the second SIM card; and registering the first SIM card with the target standard network.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present application disclose example cell signal strength prediction methods, cell signal strength reporting methods, and user equipment. An example cell signal strength prediction method includes receiving, by user equipment, a measurement configuration and measuring signal strength of a serving cell. The signal strength of the serving cell within a first preset time period is recorded by the user equipment, and, based on the signal strength of the serving cell within the first preset time period, a determination is made by the user equipment whether the signal strength of the serving cell is falling. In response to a determination that the signal strength of the serving cell is falling, the user equipment predicts signal strength of the serving cell at a second preset time.

    Abstract: A method for processing concurrent services and a terminal can effectively ensure that a service with a higher service priority maintains better service transmission quality in the concurrent services. The concurrent services include a first service and a second service. A service priority of the first service is higher than a service priority of the second service. The method includes: obtaining, by a terminal, channel quality information of a channel that carries the concurrent services; and blocking, by the terminal, the second service when the channel quality information meets a preset blocking condition.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method for selecting a target cell and a terminal comprising: acquiring, by a terminal, signal strengths of a serving cell and signal strengths of neighboring cells according to a predetermined time period; determining a candidate target cell set, where the candidate target cell set includes neighboring cells whose first strength parameters are greater than a first strength parameter of the serving cell at a specific moment; detecting signal change trends, which are within a predetermined time length before the specific moment, of the neighboring cells in the candidate target cell set; determining that a neighboring cell in a set of neighboring cells whose signal change trends satisfy a first state in the candidate target cell set is a target cell, where the first state is a stable trend and/or an ascending trend; and reselecting the target cell as a serving cell.
