Abstract:
The present invention discloses a video encoding and decoding method, apparatus and system, where the video encoding method includes: determining an independently decodable view in a to-be-encoded picture according to a configuration file corresponding to the video; dividing the picture into at least two tiles, where an area corresponding to one or more tiles that cover the independently decodable view is an independently decodable area; generating an auxiliary message corresponding to the picture, where the auxiliary message includes a location identifier of the independently decodable area; and encoding all tiles included in the picture to form an encoded video bitstream, where the encoded video bitstream includes the auxiliary message. Decoding this encoded video bitstream can lower a requirement for performance of a decoder and improve decoding efficiency.
Abstract:
A method for bearing auxiliary video supplemental information is provided. The method includes: bearing auxiliary video supplemental information in a video bit stream; and distributing the video bit stream to a transmission network to generate a media stream, or distributing the video bit stream to a medium. A universal content distribution interface can be provided for media content that includes an auxiliary video, a main video corresponding to the auxiliary video, and auxiliary video supplemental information by using the present invention.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a method and device for applying parental control in media. Corresponding parental control rating information is set for media contents in different time periods in the single media presentation; the parental control rating information is sent to a client; and the client processes the media contents in the single media presentation according to the parental control rating information, so as to make the effect of the parental control accurate.
Abstract:
A method for rendering media content is provided. One example method includes: receiving call signaling of the call service from a call session control device; obtaining call context information of the user equipment; and enabling, based on the call context information, the user equipment to render media content.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a media data control method and apparatus. The method includes: receiving a control request message sent by a terminal, where the control request message carries identification information of a substream and a uniform resource identifier URI of a media stream to which the substream belongs; obtaining the identification information of the substream and the URI of the media stream to which the substream belongs; determining, according to the identification information of the substream and the URI of the media stream to which the substream belongs, media data of the substream; and performing, based on the media data, a control operation requested by the terminal, for the substream. With the present invention, independent control can be implemented for data of different features under the same type in the case where the data of different features is transmitted through the same media stream.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and an apparatus for acquiring 3D format description information. The method includes: receiving an out-of-band message that carries 3D format description information and is sent by a sending end, where the out-of-band message is received before a client participates in a multimedia session initiated by the sending end; and parsing the out-of-band message and acquiring the 3D format description information from the out-of-band message. The client may determine, before the video is received, whether the client matches a format used for a 3D video. This improves the speed of determining the match, reduces the overhead of receiving and processing the video.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, apparatus and system for obtaining key information during fast channel switching. A fast channel switching request sent by a terminal is received; at least one data unit bearing key information is generated according to the fast channel switching request; a fast channel switching response message is sent to the terminal, where the response message carries an identifier of a first data unit bearing the key information and the number of data units bearing the key information; and the at least one data unit bearing the key information is sent to the terminal. When the key information is lost, the key information is retransmitted without a need to perform status maintenance, which improves scalability of fast channel switching.
