摘要: Measurement configuration techniques for wideband coverage enhancement (WCE)-capable devices are described. According to various such techniques, a WCE-capable UE may be configured to recognize and apply distinct respective discovery signal measurement timing configurations (DMTCs) for WCE discovery reference signal (DRS) measurements and non-WCE DRS measurements. In some embodiments, the DMTC for WCE DRS measurements may specify a longer measurement periodicity for WCE DRS measurements than that applicable to non-WCE DRS measurements. In some embodiments, the DMTC for WCE DRS measurements may specify a larger measurement window for WCE DRS measurements than that applicable to non-WCE DRS measurements. In some embodiments, the WCE-capable UE may be configured to recognize and distinct respective measurement gap configurations for WCE and non-WCE measurements. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: This disclosure relates to implementations to support UE-specific search space (UESS) for wide coverage enhancement (WCE). One implementation relates to an apparatus of a user equipment (UE) comprising: an interface configured to receive configuration information of a UE specific Search Space (UESS) and a common search space (CSS) for enhanced Physical Downlink Control Channel (ePDCCH) from a radio-frequency (RF) circuitry; and a processor configured to monitor the UESS and the CSS for ePDCCH transmission; wherein the interface and/or the processor is adaptable to support a wideband coverage enhancement (WCE).

摘要: Embodiments herein are related to grantless uplink control information (G-UCI) content and size designs/mechanisms in MulteFire (MF) systems. Since the power control of the grantless uplink (GUL) use is different from the scheduled uplink (SUL), the power headroom (PHR) calculation and reporting should be enhanced. Embodiments herein provide an electronic apparatus employed in an user equipment (UE). The electronic apparatus comprises a radio frequency (RF) circuitry interface and processing circuitry. In an example, the processing circuitry is configured to calculate the PHR of the GUL physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH); generate an uplink data including the PHR of GUL.
