Abstract:
A coin acceptor includes main body having coin dispenser mounted therein, coin tubes mounted in the main body and disposed at the bottom side of the coin dispenser, and sensing device including multiple optical sensor modules respectively aimed at the coin tubes. The distance between each optical sensor module and the coins in the respective coin tube is calculated by: measuring the time taken for the reflected light to travel from the coins in the respective coin tube to the proximity sensor of the respective optical sensor module and then multiplying the time thus measured by the speed of light. The number of coins in each coin tube is calculated by: deducting the distance between the respective optical sensor module and the coins in the respective coin tube from the pre-measured depth of the empty coin tube, and then dividing the reminder thus obtained by the thickness of single coin.
Abstract:
An ink-staining anti-theft cash box includes a cash box mounted in a host machine for receiving and storing bills, an ink-jet module and an anti-theft security device consisting of a gas cylinder, a needle valve unit, a drive unit and a trigger unit. When the trigger unit detects abnormal separation of the cash box from the host machine, the trigger unit is triggered, and the drive unit is activated to move the gas cylinder toward the needle valve unit from a first position to a second position where an air seal diaphragm of the gas cylinder is pierced by the needle valve unit, and the compressed gas of the gas cylinder is released through an ink tub into an ink cartridge to force an ink out of a nozzle assembly of the ink-jet module for staining storage bills in the box body, enhancing the security level of the cash box.
Abstract:
A printer includes housing having reel mounted therein to support paper roll and paper exit formed in front panel thereof, printing mechanism positioned in the housing and having printing head for printing an ink on the sheet of paper, paper cutter for cutting the sheet of paper and paper path defined between the printing head and the paper cutter for the passing of the leading end of the sheet of paper, and paper dispensing mechanism positioned in the housing including drive module and paper dispensing roller set drivable by the drive module to carry the sheet of paper toward the paper exit. The paper dispensing roller set consist of two rollers made of a flexible and elastic material and pressed against each other. The distance between the center of the two rollers is less than the combination of the radius of the two rollers.
Abstract:
A light-emitting mounting structure for valuable document acceptor includes a main unit defining a front opening and a bill passage, LEDs mounted in the main unit and respectively arranged at opposing top and bottom sides relative to the front opening, a face panel mounted at the front side of the main unit and defining a bill insertion slot having a diverging front open side for the insertion of a valuable document into the bill passage, light diffuser panels respectively mounted in the face panel for diffusing light toward the diverging front open side of the bill insertion slot, and a light guide plate mounted in the face panel and adapted to guide emitted light from the LEDs toward the light diffuser panels. This design allows adjustment of the amount of installed LEDs and their installation locations.
Abstract:
A coin dispenser is disclosed to use a dialing rod of a dialing device of a coin dispensing unit to push one side of the peripheral edge of one metal coin so that the other side of the peripheral edge of the metal coin will push two coin-stopping columns of one spring plate of the coin dispensing unit, causing the two coin-stopping columns to slide along the peripheral edge of the metal coin, and thus, when the metal coin crosses two coin-stopping columns, the metal coin is sent out of the coin outlet, achieving the effect of dispensing one metal coin at one time.
Abstract:
An ink-staining anti-theft cash box includes cash box mounted mainframe of bill acceptor, automatic vending machine or service kiosk and defining accommodation chamber, front opening and top mounting hole, ink cartridge including cartridge body mounted top mounting hole of mainframe, a plurality of ink holders accommodated cartridge body and actuator adapted for triggering ink holders, anti-theft security module with trigger unit mounted cash box, locking mechanism including control unit and operating unit operable drive control unit in locking or unlocking trigger unit. If cash box removed from mainframe by force without unlocking locking mechanism according normal unlocking procedure, trigger unit of anti-theft security module trigger actuator of ink cartridge, forcing respective ink holders to ink-stain storage bills in box body with unfading ink, causing bills lose their market value or transaction capabilities, deterring criminals to limit their criminal acts and enhancing security level of cash box.
Abstract:
A valuable paper position correction method for correcting an offset valuable paper includes the step of enabling two sensors of a sensor unit to sense the presence of the valuable paper, the step of determining the time span between the detection of the sensors, the step of calculating the difference in distance between the two bill-transfer roller sets using the detected data of the time span and the revolving speeds of motors, the step of calculating the length of time needed for speed change, the step of controlling one of the motors to change its speed in driving the respective bill-transfer roller set, and the step of controlling the speeded up or slowed down motor to return to its former speed after the length of time for speed change is up.
