摘要: There is provided a coin diverter that allows increase in the number of coin diversion directions and reduction in the size of a coin handling apparatus. The coin diverter includes a diverter member that diverts a coin from a transport path and a driver that changes the state of the diverter member to any of a first state in which the diverter member leads the coin toward the downstream side of the transport path, a second state in which the diverter member leads the coin in a first direction in which the coin drops from the transport path, and a third state in which the diverter member leads the coin in a second direction different from the direction toward the downstream side of the transport path and the first direction.

摘要: The invention relates to a testing device 10, that can be a component of a feeding device to feed coin blanks 11 to a coining press or a minting station 12. The testing device 10 has a contactless measuring first sensor device 30 and/or a second sensor device 40. Every sensor device 30, 40 that is present controls an associated removal device 32 or 41. Each sensor device 30, 40 detects a certain property of the coin blank and compares it with a corresponding standard specification. If an unacceptable deviation from the specification is detected, the sensor device 30, 40 in question controls the respective associated removal device 32, 41 to discharge the coin blank from a main conveyor device 13 which transports the coin blanks from a feeding end 14 to an exit end 15.

摘要: An automatic coin sorting device is provided. The sorting device may include a housing having a hopper configured for receiving coins, a coin tray coupled to the housing, wherein the coin tray is moveable from a first position to a second position, and a plurality of tubular coin receiving members removably secured to the coin tray, wherein each tubular coin receiving member is configured for receiving a different-sized coin. Each tubular coin receiving member includes an angled opening near one face of the coin receiving member to prevent jamming or back-filling of the coins when the coin receiving member is filled to capacity.

摘要: A coin handling system comprises a coin-driving member having a resilient surface and a stationary coin-guiding member having a coin-guiding surface opposing the resilient surface of the coin-driving member. The coin-guiding surface is positioned generally parallel to the resilient surface and spaced slightly therefrom. The resilient surface of the coin-driving member moves coins along the coin-guiding surface of the coin-guiding member. The coin handling system uses a lubrication distribution system to reduce friction between the coins and the coin-guiding surface of the coin-guiding member. The lubrication distribution system includes at least one cavity formed in the coin-guiding surface of the coin-guiding member. A reservoir stores a lubrication fluid, and a supply tubing is used to convey the lubrication fluid from the reservoir to the cavity. A control system regulates the flow of the lubrication fluid from the reservoir to the cavity via the supply tubing.
