Abstract:
A disturbance source positioning method for positioning disturbance sources in a system including a plurality of nodes is provided. The method includes the following steps: grouping the plurality of nodes into a plurality of node groups based on an oscillation feature; establishing an in-group causality of the plurality of node groups based on a successive order of a coherent oscillation component; selecting at least one candidate group from the plurality of node groups based on the in-group causality; and positioning at least one disturbance source node in each candidate group.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is the novel use of use of a Bauhinia spp. extract, which may upregulate neprilysin, induce autophagy, protect neuron from amyloidopathy or tauopathy, and/or promote neurite outgrowth, thus the Bauhinia spp. extract of the present disclosure may be used as a dietary supplement for the prophylaxis or treatment of amyloid related neurodegenerative diseases so as to ameliorate or alleviate symptoms associated with the amyloid related neurodegenerative diseases.
Abstract:
A method of treating or alleviating autoimmune-related diseases is provided. The method comprises administering a pharmaceutical composition to a subject in need thereof. Moreover, the pharmaceutical composition comprises an extract of Amomum tsao-ko as an effective ingredient and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or salt.
Abstract:
A parameter tuning method of an unknown proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller is provided. The unknown PID controller is replaced with the control algorithm of the generic controller to perform the optimal parameter tuning to obtain the target parameter of the generic controller. The unknown PID controller is set with a first parameter group so that the corresponding input signal, the control signal and the output signal are measured for performing the parameter identification procedure of the generic controller to obtain a second parameter group of the generic controller. When the second parameter group is not within a specification range of the target parameter, the first parameter is re-calculated and modified by a direct search method in accordance with the difference between the second parameter group and the target parameter for setting the unknown PID controller again, and then the input signal, the control signal and the output signal are measured again.
Abstract:
The disclosure provides a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting angiogenesis, including an effective amount of an extract of Juniperus chinensis or an effective amount of a lignan as an effective ingredient. The pharmaceutical composition may further include a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or salt. The disclosure also provides a method for inhibiting angiogenesis, including administering an effective amount of an extract of Juniperus chinensis or an effective amount of a lignan as an effective ingredient for inhibiting angiogenesis to a subject in need thereof.

Abstract:
A disturbance source tracing method adapted for tracing a disturbance source of a system including a plurality of candidate nodes by a computing apparatus is provided. In this method, the computing apparatus obtains a plurality of topology information by analyzing the system using a plurality of process analyzing methods respectively. The topology information records causalities between the candidate nodes of the system. The computing apparatus applies each causality of the topology information to a probability distribution algorithm, and calculates a stationary probability distribution of each of the candidate nodes. The computing apparatus also synthesizes the stationary probability distributions calculated with respect to each process analyzing method to calculate a probability distribution of each of the candidate nodes being the disturbance source.
