Abstract: A method determines at least one system state of a system using a Kalman filter. At least one measured value, measured by at least one sensor of the system, is supplied to the Kalman filter. The method includes estimating the at least one system state using the Kalman filter. An estimation result and at least one associated item of information relating to a reliability of the estimation result are output. The method further includes determining a discrepancy between at least one model value associated with the estimation result and at least one measured value associated with the estimation result, and correcting the at least one associated item of information relating to the reliability of the estimation result using the determined discrepancy.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a method for controlling an intelligent device and an intelligent device. The method comprises: receiving a voice input; determining a service instruction based on the received voice input; determining a target serviced object for which the service instruction is intended; determining a target execution element of the service instruction based on the target serviced object; and controlling the intelligent device to perform an action corresponding to the service instruction based on the target execution element. In addition, the process of determining the target serviced object for which the service instruction is intended may be performed based on an artificial intelligence model.

Abstract: A method is provided for determining whether a future time period for performing a future process run is satisfactory. The process run employs process equipment disposed within an interior space. In a first step a relationship is obtained between an environmental condition within the interior space and an environmental condition exterior to the interior space. In a second step a future value representative of the environmental condition exterior to the interior space during the future time period is obtained. In a third step a predicted value representative of the environmental condition within the interior space during the future time period is determined by comparing the future value obtained in step (b) to the relationship obtained in step (a). Next the predicted value determined in step (c) is compared to a reference. It is then determined from the comparison whether the future time period for performing the future process run is satisfactory.

Abstract: A method is provided for remote monitoring, decision making and operation of one or more parameters of on-site well operation equipment. The method includes collecting data corresponding to the at least one parameter by one or more on-site sensor modules assigned to the equipment for monitoring joint make-up of tubing and casing connections; transmitting the collected data to an on-site make-up monitoring system; transmitting said collected data from the on-site make-up monitoring system to a cloud or edge-based system for storage, display and analysis; accessing collected day by one or more users via one or more dedicated remote portals for review or analysis; and transmitting instructions from any one or more users via the remote portal and cloud or edge-based system back to the on-site make-up monitoring system for modifying the operation of the equipment within predefined limits. A system for remote monitoring, decision making and operation of one or more parameters of on-site well operation equipment is further provided as well as a calibration system and a calibration method for calibrating mechanized well operation equipment.

Abstract: Techniques for ripple-type control of networked physical systems such as power systems, water systems, and others are provided. As one example, a device includes at least one processor configured to determine, for a first controllable device in a system, based on a measurement of an output parameter and a minimum output parameter value, an output violation value for the first device. The processor is further configured to determine, based on a present input value for the first device, the output violation value, and an assistance requisition value corresponding to a second device, a target input value for the first device. The processor is further configured to cause the first controllable device to modify operation based on the target input value and a maximum input value for the first controllable device.
