Abstract: Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that can be configured to determine that an unobtrusive gesture has been received on a first electronic device and send a signal to a second electronic device in response to the unobtrusive gesture. The first electronic device can also be configured to receive a signal from the second electronic device, determine an unobtrusive output in response to the signal, and generate an unobtrusive notification in response to the received signal. In an example, the first electronic device is a part of jewelry worn by a user.

Abstract: The present disclosure describes a number of embodiments related to a fabric having one or more embedded wires, with the computer node integrated into the fabric that has a base conductive fabric and one or more system leads coupled to the base conductive fabric to electrically couple a computer node removably seated in the computer node seat with one or more embedded wires in the fabric, where the computer node seat has a thickness or a flexibility substantially similar to the fabric and is substantially flat. In other embodiments, the computer node may include a single housing or double housing and may attach to the computer node seat such that a portion of the computer node is disposed both above and below a plane of the computer node seat.

Abstract: Techniques to determine depth for a number of wearable devices, which may be worn in layers are provided. A wearable device can receive measurements from sensors to include sensors from a number of other wearable devices. Based on the sensor measurements, the wearable device can determine a depth for the wearable devices. The depth can include an indication of which wearable device is closest to a user, which wearable device is closest to an external environment, or the like.

Abstract: Devices and techniques for an e-textile power module are described. A battery housing and a battery housing seat are provided. The battery housing seat includes four concentric circles alternating between insulating and conducting materials, a first trace electrically connecting the first inner circle to e-textile wiring through the fabric, a second trace electrically connecting the third inner circle to the e-textile wiring through the fabric, and a magnet. The battery housing includes a conductive ring, an insulating layer with a lumen arranged to permit contact of a first battery terminal of a battery via the lumen and a second lumen of the conductive ring, and a conductive cap. The4 conductive cap is arranged to engage to the conductive ring to hold the battery against the insulating layer against the conductive ring and electrically connect to a second terminal of the battery when the battery is placed within the battery housing.
