Abstract: Methods and systems may provide for obtaining a query image of a scene, wherein the query image includes embedded information and represents the scene at a time of capture. The embedded information may include location data and perspective data. Additionally, user input may be received, wherein the user input identifies a different time than the time of capture. A time-shifted image of the scene may be obtained based on the user input and the embedded information in the query image. Crowd sources and/or other public information sources may also be used to obtain the time-shifted image. In one example, the time-shifted image represents the scene at the different time.

Abstract: Various systems and methods for implementing adaptive synching are provided herein. A synchronization system comprises a processor; and a memory including instructions, which when executed by the processor, cause the processor to implement: a file synchronization controller to receive an indication from a client device that the client device wants to synchronize files with a file server; a policy manager to: obtain a server-side policy associated with the file server; and determine whether the file server is in a state compliant with the server-side policy; wherein the file synchronization controller is to initiate synchronization between the client device and the file server when the file server is in the state compliant with the server-side policy.

Abstract: Disclosed in some examples are systems, methods, and machine readable mediums which provide for a data management microservice which registers and manages data across multiple microservices to reduce data fragmentation and to ensure correct disposal of this data upon request. In some examples, the data management microservice may include an erasure service which ensures that all data corresponding to a data characteristic is deleted.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems and articles of manufacture to provide power to devices are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a display and an instruction presenter. The presenter is to generate a notification on the display. The notification indicates that delivery of power to the user device will be enabled in exchange for paying attention to the display during a media presentation. The apparatus also includes a detector to determine that a person associated with the user device is paying attention to the display. The charging station is to transmit power to the user device in response to the detector determining that the person is paying attention to the display.

Abstract: Particular embodiments described herein provide for an electronic device that can be configured to determine that an unobtrusive gesture has been received on a first electronic device and send a signal to a second electronic device in response to the unobtrusive gesture. The first electronic device can also be configured to receive a signal from the second electronic device, determine an unobtrusive output in response to the signal, and generate an unobtrusive notification in response to the received signal. In an example, the first electronic device is a part of jewelry worn by a user.
