    摘要: An activity sensor which provides an indication of motion caused by changes in acceleration of a person or animal, and wherein such changes of motion are sensed by a movable magnet which is biased to a rest position along a guide. The axis of the path of movement of the movable magnet is substantially parallel to the direction of accelerations of interest. A Hall effect sensor is provided for sensing motions of the movable magnet from its rest position, and it provides an output proportional to these movements.

    摘要: Non-networked radio frequency identification (RFID) systems and methods are described that use RFID tags to exchange information between non-networked RFID readers. The RFID tags may store information about conditions the RFID-tagged items have encountered while being processed. RFID readers may dynamically update the information stored on the RFID tags as the RFID-tagged items are processed at nodes. An RFID tag may include a processor that dynamically determines process control instructions based on the information.

    摘要: An article, system and method related to a magnetomechanical marker used to mark stationary assets. Magnetomechanical markers can be arranged in clusters and associated with stationary assets, including assets buried underground. Markers can be associated with an asset by being attached to the asset, arranged in a particular spatial relationship with the asset, or in any other appropriate way. A portable locating device can be used to generate an alternating magnetic field to activate the magnetomechanical marker and thus locate the asset.
