Abstract: The embodiments described herein include sensor mounting clamps configured to lock a sensor, such as a temperature sensor, in place relative to a structure, such as a pipe or tube, of a heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) unit. More specifically, the sensor mounting clamps described herein include sensor mounting portions configured to receive a sensor, and to hold the sensor in place relative to a structure of an HVAC unit. In addition, the sensor mounting clamps described herein include locking mechanisms having interlocking pockets configured to lock the sensor mounting clamps in place around a structure of an HVAC unit. For example, the sensor mounting clamps described herein may include interlocking pockets having interior passages configured to receive a retention piece, such as a cotter pin, cylindrical pin, or screw, to lock the interlocking pockets in place relative to each other, or may include interlocking pockets configured to directly engage with each other. In addition, the sensor mounting clamps described herein may include a flange configured to constrain longitudinal motion of a sensor.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) unit having a refrigerant circuit including a heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and a compressor. The heat exchanger includes a first coil and a second coil packaged in a common support structure. The HVAC unit further has a flow control system configured to direct refrigerant flow to the first coil from the expansion valve in a cooling mode of the HVAC unit and to the first coil from the compressor in a reheat mode of the HVAC unit, and configured to direct refrigerant flow to the second coil from the expansion valve in both the cooling mode and the reheat mode of the HVAC unit.

The condenser fan assembly includes a support frame having an opening and a condenser fan that is coupled to the support frame and configured to force air through the opening. The condenser fan assembly is configured to translate between an operating position and a service position. The HVAC unit also includes a brace that is configured to extend from an enclosure of the HVAC unit to the condenser fan assembly to hold the condenser fan assembly in the service position.
