Abstract: Disclosed is an ultrafine fiber including lignin, a carrier polymer and a carbon material. The ultrafine fiber, which includes lignin, can exhibit the properties of lignin such as antibacterial property, biodegradability, etc. Accordingly, it can be used widely in medical materials such as nanofiber, nanofiber web, nanofiber sheet, etc. for wound healing of the skin's dermal layer. Also, the ultrafine fiber can be used in sheath of electric cables because it contains a carbon material and has superior conductivity. In addition, because the ultrafine fiber can hold a large quantity of water, it can be used in various fields including sanitary pads for women, diapers for babies and adults, etc.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a spiropyran composite having improved mechano-sensitivity, a method for manufacturing the same, and a chromic article including the same. Particularly, the spiropyran composite is obtained by bonding spiropyran covalently to a polymer, an inorganic material or a mixture thereof to form spiropyran composite, and impregnating the spiropyran composite with a sensitivity-enhancing agent for a suitable time through a wet infiltration process to form non-polar environment at the inner part of the spiropyran composite, to cause pre-stretch and to increase a change in color or fluorescence in response to force, stress or strain, thereby providing significantly improved mechano-sensitivity. In addition, a wet filtration process is used and no expensive equipment is required to simplify the process. Further, the process can be performed rapidly within several minutes to reduce the processing time.

Abstract: Disclosed are lignin microcapsules including lignin as a shell material and at least one of oil and a carbonaceous material as a core material. The lignin microcapsules may be formed by carried out polymerization in an oil-in-water emulsion including lignin, oil and water and further including a carbonaceous material. Since lignin has a phenol structure, the microcapsules including lignin may be formed to have antibacterial property. Thus, the lignin microcapsules may be used widely in various fields, such as additives for composite materials.

Abstract: Provided are a carbon nanotube composite containing a carbon nanotube coated with a protein having a catechol group and a metal ion bound to the catechol group and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the present disclosure, a carbon nanotube composite which exhibits controllable dispersibility and degree of crosslinkage while retaining the intrinsic physical properties of the carbon nanotube may be prepared. Since the phase change and tendency of aggregation of the carbon nanotube composite can be controlled quickly and repeatedly depending on the change in external environment, the carbon nanotube composite may be useful in various industrial fields including medicine, environment, etc. as a self-healing material.
