摘要: A scheme for sharing a common virtual connection identifier between end-nodes, which enable sharing of a common identifier of a sufficient information length at both end-nodes of a virtual connection. In this scheme, the first message containing a first identifier for provisionally identifying a virtual connection commonly between neighboring nodes is exchanged between neighboring nodes, at a time of setting up the virtual connection. Then, the second message containing a second identifier having a larger information size than the first identifier for formally identifying the virtual connection commonly between neighboring nodes, in a form that enables establishing of a correspondence between the first identifier and the second identifier, is exchanged between neighboring nodes through another virtual connection different from the virtual connection to be set up. The correspondence between the first identifier and the second identifier is managed at each node according to the first message and the second message so as to share the second identifier between neighboring nodes.

摘要: A router device and a frame transfer method capable of attaching a virtual identifier necessary for the datalink layer switching that improves a transfer efficiency at the router device. The router device receives a frame having a datalink flow identifier for identifying a flow of a packet corresponding to the frame on a datalink layer, which is contained in a prescribed region of the frame corresponding to an upper layer protocol identification information region of a frame format for frames to be transferred via a network layer processing, and transfers the frame received from a previous hop node to the next hop node by obtaining the address information of the next hop node by referring to the memory unit using at least the datalink flow identifier contained in a prescribed region of the frame as a key, and by attaching the address information of the next hop node to the frame, without carrying out the network layer processing, where the memory unit stores a correspondence of the datalink flow identifier and an address information of the next hop node.

摘要: The system defines a dedicated virtual link (DVL) for a specified packet flow. The router receives a datalink frame having a Media Access Control (MAC) address field. An identifier of the DVL allocated between the router and a previous-hop node is written in the frame using the MAC address field. The router refers to a correspondence relationship between the identifier of the DVL and information for designating a next-hop node, based on the identifier of the DVL included in the received frame, and transfers the frame to the next-hop node without network-layer processing.

摘要: A node device and a label switched path loop detection method which are capable of detecting a label switched path loop efficiently and quickly are disclosed. In a node device for carrying out the label switching, an ingress node information is included in a message that is to be successively transmitted from the upstream side in order to set up a label switched path, and the fact that the message with the same ingress node information for the same packet flow will be received from a previous hop node that is different from before if the label switched path has a loop formed thereon is utilized. Also, at a time of transmitting a message for the purpose of setting up a label switched path, if a node at which the label switched path for that packet flow already exists on the upstream or downstream side is encountered, this already existing label switched path is traced along the same or opposite direction as the flow, and the label switched path is set up if no loop is detected after tracing to the end.

摘要: The present invention aims at making the cut-through trigger variable in accordance with the traffic environment, thereby increasing the cut-through traffic to enhance the efficiency of communication. In the trigger filtering unit (16A), the number of transfers of the hop-by-hop packet meeting each of a plurality of preset trigger conditions is counted. In the processor (15A), the rate of the traffic meeting each of trigger conditions to all the traffics of the hop-by-hop transfer is calculated in accordance with the count value, a trigger condition under which the rate exceeds the threshold value is selected as the cut-through trigger, and it is determined which of the cut-through transfer mode and the hop-by-hop transfer mode should be selected.

摘要: According to an embodiment, a smoothing device includes an acquiring unit, a determining unit, and selecting unit. The acquiring unit acquires weather information of a plurality of operation areas. A facility device that performs environmental control according to a control value resulting from operation based on the weather information is installed in each of the operation areas. The determining unit determines whether or not an amount of change in weather exceeds a predetermined first threshold in each of the operation areas. The selecting unit selects at least one first operation area that is an operation area in which the amount of change exceeds the first threshold as a halt area for which the operation of the control value used by the facility device installed in the first operation area is halted when the number of first operation areas exceeds a predetermined second threshold.

摘要: According to an embodiment, a smoothing device includes a predicting unit, a calculating unit, and a control unit. The predicting unit predicts a calculation load of operation at a first time slot on the basis of weather prediction information of operation areas in which facility devices that perform environmental control according to control values resulting from the operation based on weather information are installed. The calculating unit calculates a calculation load of operation at a second time slot earlier than the first time slot on the basis of the weather information of the operation areas. The control unit controls an executing device that executes the operation so that part of the operation to be executed at the first time slot is executed at the second time slot.
