摘要： Elastic threads for raisable gathers and elastic threads for leg gathers are provided in a specified relationship in side sheets provided at the opposite sides of a skin-side sheet, and the respective side sheets are adhered to the skin-side sheet in a specified relationship. In this way, the raisable gathers and leg gathers can be simultaneously formed in the side sheets. Further, a pocket into which an exchangeable and substantially sandglass-shaped second absorbent body can be positioned and inserted is formed between the skin-side sheet enclosed by the respective adhered portions and the respective side sheets.

摘要： Inventive disposable underpants are provided with an underpants member formed of a first sheet as an outermost layer and a second sheet located inside the first sheet; an absorbent member provided on the second sheet at the inner side of the underpants member; and a trunk fittable elastic member for fitting the trunk tightly held between the first and second sheets, wherein absorbent member fixing sheets each folded to form an upper and a lower portions are transversely arranged below the absorbent member, and the upper portions of the absorbent member fixing sheets are joined with a lower surface of the absorbent member, whereas the lower portions thereof are joined with an upper surface of the second sheet. Thus, even if the disposable underpants were formed using a thin absorbent member, the absorbent member could suppress a lateral leak of urine without being twisted while the disposable underpants were worn.

摘要： In a disposable diaper in which an absorbent body is provided between a water-repellent outer sheet and a hydrophilic skin-side sheet made of a nonwoven fabric, raisable strips made of a nonwoven fabric are provided at the opposite sides of the skin-side sheet, elastic threads for raisable gathers are provided in inner edge portions of the raisable strips and the outer edge portions of the raisable strips are adhered to the skin-side sheet, an ooze preventing portion for preventing an ooze of urine and other bodily waste is formed at opposite end portions of the skin-side sheet. Therefore, even if urine and other bodily waste permeate into the skin-side sheet, they do not ooze out from the end portion of the skin-side sheet.

摘要： A bondable innermost edge e′ of a hot melt adhesive to be applied to a base end 4a of each of a pair of raisable flaps 4 is disposed outside away from an inner edge 4d of the base end 4a in a state that each raisable flap 4 is folded into a multi-layered manner in bonding the base ends 4a of the raisable flaps 4 to an outer sheet at the opposite sides of an absorbent member 3 with the hot melt adhesive. This arrangement eliminates likelihood that a free end 4b of each raisable flap 4 may be adhered to the base end 4a by an excessively and extensively applied adhesive portion even if the adhesive is excessively and extensively applied.

摘要： In a rising gathered member 4 of an absorbent main body 3 attached to an external sheet 2, an inward folded base end 4b is joined astride a side end 13a of a top sheet 13 as a top surface of the absorbent main body 3 and a side end 14a of a back sheet 14 so that the rising gathered member 4 rises from a most side edge 3a in a width direction of the absorbent main body 3 and, also, the back sheet 14 of the absorbent main body 3 is attached onto a skin-contacting surface side of a crotch part R of a second external sheet 8 at an inward position at a prescribed width W5 from the most side edge 3a of the absorbent main body 3 as an outermost joint position. With the above constitution, it is possible to effectively prevent any lateral leakage of urine and the like, even if a disposable absorbent article is shifted. Moreover, the base end of the rising gathered member is merely joined to the side end of the top surface of the absorbent main body, thereby requiring no sheet winding step or the like, such a simple process can achieve inexpensive production, and further, the stability of product precision becomes improved.
