摘要： A storage phosphor reader apparatus reads exposed storage phosphors. The reader includes an outer frame assembly including a cassette handling assembly, located on the upper part of the outer frame assembly, for handling vertically oriented cassettes; an inner frame assembly; a first set of vibration isolators for mounting the inner frame assembly on the outer frame assembly, so as to minimize vibrations caused in the outer frame assembly from being transmitted to the inner frame assembly; a storage phosphor scanning assembly; and a second set of vibration isolators for mounting the scanning assembly on the inner frame assembly, so as to minimize vibrations caused in the inner frame assembly frame from being transmitted to the scanning assembly.
