    Abstract: Disclosed are a flexible liquid crystal display (LCD) device and a method of manufacturing the same. The flexible LCD device comprises a first flexible substrate and a second flexible substrate. A layer is disposed on the first flexible substrate and first pixel control lines are disposed on the second flexible substrate. The LCD device also includes polymer walls disposed between the first flexible substrate and the second flexible substrate that maintain a cell gap between the first flexible substrate and the second flexible substrate. The polymer walls are substantially aligned with the first pixel control lines and light transparent gaps in the layer disposed on the first flexible substrate.
