Abstract: A liquid crystal display device is configured to create an aesthetic effect while on low power by performing a single color driving operation in standby mode. The liquid crystal display device further includes a standby mode controller which is provided in the timing controller, in addition to the usual data driver, and runs in standby mode to perform the standby mode function with minimum power consumption.

The display device includes a display panel on which a plurality of data lines and a plurality of gate lines intersect each other to form a matrix, with a number of pixels being defined at intersections of the plurality of data lines and the plurality of gate lines. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a compensation method of a display device and the display device having a compensation value storage unit, and more particularly, to a method of performing the compensation by changing a compensation density for pixels included in the display device, and the display device having a storage unit for storing a compensation value for performing the method.
