Abstract: A display device, which is connected to other display device and has one side surface closely contacting a side surface of the other display device, includes: a display unit configured to display at least a portion of a pointer corresponding to a movement of a remote control device; a communication unit configured to perform a connection with the other display device; and a control unit configured to control the pointer to be displayed on at least one of the display device and the other display device based on a placement state of the display device and the other display device and movement information received from the remote control device.

Abstract: A display device operation method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: outputting first content on a screen of the display device; receiving a screen link request for linking a first screen of the display device and a second screen of another display device connected to the display device; and controlling the display device and another display device such that the first content is output on a merged screen in which the first screen and the second screen are merged according to the received screen link request.
