    Abstract: The present invention relates to a POV display device using a light-emitting element, comprising: a fixed module including a motor; a rotary module located above the fixed module and rotated by means of the motor; at least one panel coupled to the rotary module; a plurality of light sources which are arranged on the panel and which have a plurality of pixels; a light source module including a light-emitting element array in which the plurality of light sources are arranged in the longitudinal direction thereof; and a controller for generating, between a first main frame and a second main frame, at least one subframe formed by means of the panel, wherein the first main frame can temporally precede the second main frame.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a persistence of vision (POV) display device using a light-emitting element, and the POV display device may comprise: a fixed module including a motor; a rotation module positioned on the fixed module and rotated by the motor; at least one panel coupled to the rotation module; a plurality of light sources arranged on the panel and having a plurality of pixels; a plurality of driver ICs which control the plurality of light sources, and are positioned on the panel and arranged in the opposite directions of the plurality of light sources; a light source module including a light-emitting element array in which the plurality of light sources are arranged in the longitudinal direction, and the plurality of driver ICs; and a controller which electrically separates clocks of the driver ICs and applies the separated clocks to the plurality of pixels.

    Abstract: A method for operating an illumination system that includes at least one illumination device, a server configured to perform wireless communication with the illumination device, and a terminal configured to perform optical communication with the illumination device. The method includes sending information regarding an operation mode of the illumination device from the terminal to the server, sending a control signal from the server to the illumination device based on the information regarding an operation mode, performing visible light communication based on identification information of the illumination device when the illumination device receives the control signal, detecting the identification information of the illumination device through the terminal based on the visible light communication, matching the detected identification information with location information of the illumination device, and sending the identification information and the location information of the illumination device that are matched each other to the server.
