Abstract: The present invention relates to home appliances treating the laundry or object received therein using artificial intelligence. Specifically, the home appliance may include an artificial intelligence-based laundry washing machine that recognizes a load based on vision and automatically provides a specific course. The home appliance include a processor configured to: obtain a learning result from a learning operation using image information previously acquired using the camera and treatment information previously acquired from user interface; and process image information currently acquired using the camera with respect to the learning result, thereby to generate and set current treatment information; and control the home appliance to treat the object based on the set current treatment information.

Abstract: Disclosed is an artificial intelligent refrigerator including a cold-storage chamber; a temperature information receiver for receiving external temperature information of a location in which a purchased item is located; an arrival time information receiver for receiving expected arrival time information to be taken until the item is stored in the cold-storage chamber; and a temperature controller for setting in advance a target cooling temperature of the cold-storage chamber for the item based on an artificial intelligence (AI) processor in which a neural network model is mounted before the item is stored in the cold-storage chamber. Here, the temperature controller inputs the external temperature information and the expected arrival time information to the neural network model to estimate a temperature change of the item and sets in advance a target cooling temperature of the cold-storage chamber based on an estimated temperature change of the item.

Abstract: The present application relates to a laundry treating apparatus. More specifically, the present application relates to a laundry treating apparatus having a camera and a control method thereof. One embodiment of the present application provides a method including: causing a drum to move laundry inside the drum; generating time-series images of movement of the laundry by capturing an inside of the drum while the laundry moves over time; determining a movement state of the laundry based on the generated time-series images while the drum rotates at a revolutions per minute (RPM); controlling the RPM of the drum based on the movement state of the laundry to increase a laundry spread value; and after the laundry spread value has increased, increasing the RPM of the drum to perform a spinning process.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is an intelligent washing machine includes: an inner tub in which laundry is placed; a motor transferring a rotational force to the inner tub; an image obtaining unit obtaining an image of the laundry placed in the inner tub after a washing process; and a controller obtaining a laundry classification information reflecting water content percentage information of the laundry from the image of the laundry, learning the laundry classification information to predict a degree of vibration of the inner tub that occurs in a spin-drying process, and varying a revolutions per minute (RPM) of the motor in the spin-drying process according to the predicted degree of vibration of the inner tub.
