Abstract: A method and device for the wet treatment of laundry batches provides to load the drum in a plurality of steps. To this end, the laundry batch is divided into partial batches which are gradually loaded into the drum. In particular, the drum is driven in rotation between successive partial batches at a rotational speed which corresponds to the spinning speed and/or supplies liquid to the partial batches during loading. As a result, the individual partial batches are compacted. Due to this compaction, space is provided for the next partial batch. As a result, the drum can be loaded with larger laundry batches of greater weight. This results in a more cost-efficient wet treatment.

The internal sensor may measure at least one factor from among a temperature, a humidity, and a contamination degree inside the washing tub. The controller controls operations of the driver, the water supplier, and the drain, and receives input of the at least one factor measured by the internal sensor to derive a recommended take-out time of washed laundry. The display displays the recommended take-out time derived by the controller.

Abstract: A disclosed dryer includes a receptacle configured to contain material to be dried, an air duct configured to route recirculating air and/or fresh air to the receptacle, a heating device configured to heat the recirculating air, and at least one sensor. The sensor is configured to determine a relative humidity and/or temperature, and the air duct includes at least one adjusting element configured to modify a portion of recirculating air routed to the receptacle. The dryer further includes a control or regulating device configured to control or regulate the portion of recirculating air routed to the receptacle and/or a heating capacity of the heating device during a drying process. A disclosed method includes controlling a portion of recirculating air routed to the receptacle and/or a heating capacity of the heating device. Further, a mixture of recirculating air and fresh air are varied during heat-up, drying, and cool-down phases.
