    Abstract: A linear compressor includes a cylinder, a discharge valve, a valve spring pressing the discharge valve to close one side of the cylinder, and a spring support portion providing a support point for the valve spring to press the discharge valve. The valve spring includes a first spring arm whose center is connected to the discharge valve and extending spirally, a second spring arm spaced apart from the first spring arm by a predetermined distance with respect to an axial direction of the cylinder and extending spirally toward an outer portion according to a shape of the first spring arm, and a rubber damper connecting the first spring arm and the second spring arm and fixing relative positions of the first spring arm and the second spring arm.

    Abstract: A linear compressor may include a shell, a shell cover, a compressor body disposed in the shell, and a support device configured to connect the compressor body to the shell cover to prevent the compressor body from contacting an inner peripheral surface of the shell. The support device includes a support spring formed with a hole in a central portion and having a spiral spring arm extending from the central portion to an outer portion, at least a portion of the outer portion being connected to the compressor body, a rigid connection portion spaced apart from the support spring by a predetermined distance, and an elastic connection portion formed to surround at least a portion of a periphery of the hole of the support spring to connect the support spring and the rigid connection portion and coupled to the shell cover.

    Abstract: A linear compressor includes a shell, a discharge pipe coupled to the shell, a compressor main body located inside of the shell, a cover housing that defines a discharge space that discharges refrigerant to the discharge pipe, and a guide pipe coupled to the cover housing and configured to guide refrigerant from the discharge space to the discharge pipe. The cover housing includes a flange portion configured to couple to the compressor main body, a chamber portion that extends from the flange portion and that defines the discharge space, an accommodation groove configured to accommodate the guide pipe, and a communication groove that penetrates an inner wall of the accommodation groove and that extends to the discharge space. The guide pipe is configured to insert into the communication groove in a state in which the guide pipe is accommodated in the accommodation groove.

The linear compressor may include a shell having a cylindrical shape, a shell cover that covers both open ends of the shell, a cylinder accommodated into the shell and defining a compression space for a refrigerant, a piston that reciprocates within the cylinder in an axial direction to compress the refrigerant within the compression space, a motor assembly including a motor that provides power to the piston and a stator cover that supports the motor, and resonant springs seated on the stator cover that support the piston to allow the piston to perform a resonant motion. The resonant springs may be circularly arranged at three points having a same interval around a center in an axial direction.

    Abstract: A linear compressor is provided that may include a shell; a compressor body accommodated in the shell to compress a refrigerant; a discharge cover assembly through which the refrigerant compressed in the compressor body may be discharged; a cover pipe that extends from the discharge cover assembly to discharge the refrigerant discharged into the discharge cover assembly to an outside of the discharge cover assembly; a discharge pipe coupled to the shell to discharge the refrigerant flowing along the cover pipe to an outside of the shell; a loop pipe having a first end connected to the cover pipe and a second end connected to the discharge pipe; and a coupling member that respectively couples both the first and second ends of the loop pipe to the cover pipe and the discharge pipe. The coupling member may include a connection member, a first portion of which is inserted into the loop pipe and a second portion of which is inserted into the discharge pipe or the cover pipe. The connection member may be formed of a steel material. At least one of the discharge pipe or the cover pipe may be formed of a steel material.
