    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a scroll compressor including a casing, a drive motor arranged in the casing, a shaft coupled to the drive motor, a main frame arranged under the drive motor, a fixed scroll arranged under the main frame, an orbiting scroll arranged between the main frame and the fixed scroll and engaged with the fixed scroll to form a compression chamber with the shaft eccentrically coupled to the orbiting scroll, a discharge cover coupled to the fixed scroll to form a closed space, a discharge port formed in the fixed scroll to connect the compression chamber and the closed space, and a discharge hole passing through the main frame and the fixed scroll, wherein an inlet and an inner portion of the discharge hole have different cross-sectional areas. The scroll compressor can reduce the noise caused by movement of the refrigerant by improving the structure of the discharge holes.

    Abstract: A rotary compressor, a method of manufacturing a rotary compressor, and an apparatus for manufacturing a rotary compressor are provided. The rotary compressor may include a case having an inner space, a stator to which power may be applied, the stator being disposed in the case, and a compression mechanism disposed on or at one side of the stator to generate a compression force of a refrigerant. The compression mechanism may include a rotational shaft, a cylinder that accommodates a roller coupled to the rotational shaft, a main bearing coupled a first side of the cylinder, and a sub bearing coupled to a second side of the cylinder. The main bearing may be press-fitted and fixed to an inner surface of the case.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor is disclosed. A scroll compressor according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a compression part for discharging, to the inner space of a casing, a refrigerant compressed in a compression chamber; a discharge port for forming a flow path through which the refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber is discharged to the outside of the compression chamber; and a valve member, which has, at one end portion thereof, a root part fixed to a valve seat part of the compression part, forms a free end on the other end portion thereof, and has a head part to open/close the discharge port. A spacing part is provided between the head part of the valve member and the valve seat part to space the head part from the valve seat part in a state in which the compression part stops. Therefore, during operation of the valve member, the moving speed of the head part is reduced by means of the stiffness of the valve member so that impact force generated when the head part of the valve member collides with one surface of the compression part is reduced and impact noise generated thereby can be decreased.

    Abstract: A rotary compressor includes: a shell forming an internal space; a driving motor disposed in the internal space of the shell; a rotary shaft connected to the driving motor; a lower cylinder having a lower chamber for compressing a refrigerant and a lower roller disposed inside the lower chamber; an upper cylinder disposed on an upper side of the lower cylinder and having an upper chamber for compressing a refrigerant and an upper roller disposed inside the upper chamber; a muffler disposed on the upper side of the upper cylinder and receiving a refrigerant compressed in the upper chamber; and an intermediate plate disposed between the upper cylinder and the lower cylinder and having a rotary shaft hole through which the rotary shaft is disposed. The intermediate plate includes an opening formed around the rotary shaft hole and guiding a refrigerant compressed in the lower chamber to the muffler.
