Abstract: A composition suitable for an electrochemical device is shown and described herein. The composition comprises an organofunctional material with a nitrogen functional group. In aspects the nitrogen functional group is a ureido functional group. The composition can be employed in the electrodes materials employed in an electrochemical cell such as, for example, a lithium battery.
