    Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes a front camera and a rear camera disposed at a vehicle and each viewing exterior of the vehicle. Each of the cameras connects with a control via a respective mono coaxial cable. The respective mono coaxial cables carry control data from the control to the respective cameras and carry image data captured by the respective cameras to the control. The control generates an output provided to a video display device of the vehicle. The video display device includes a video display screen viewable by a driver of the vehicle. During a reversing maneuver of the vehicle, the video display screen displays video images of an area rearward the vehicle derived from image data captured by the rear camera and carried to the control by the respective mono coaxial cable.

    Abstract: A vision system for a vehicle includes at least one camera having a field of view exterior the vehicle. An image processor is operable to process image data captured by the camera. When the vehicle is parked, a control controls the camera to capture frames of image data at a first capture rate. The control compares a frame of captured imaged data to at least one previous frame of captured image data. Responsive to the comparison determining a change in the frames of captured image data beyond a threshold degree of change, (i) the control increases the capture rate to a second capture rate, (ii) the at least one camera captures frames of image data at the second capture rate and (iii) the control activates a recording device to record images captured by the camera at the second capture rate.

    Abstract: A vision system for a vehicle includes at least one camera having a field of view exterior the vehicle. An image processor is operable to process image data captured by the camera. When the vehicle is parked, a control controls the camera to capture frames of image data at a first capture rate.     Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes a central video/image processor configured to connect via a plurality of bidirectional mono-coaxial cables of a vehicle with a plurality of vehicular cameras of the vehicle. The central video/image processor includes an image processor. Each respective bidirectional mono-coaxial cable connecting the central video/image processor with a respective vehicular camera (i) carries control data from the central video/image processor to the respective vehicular camera and (ii) carries image data captured by the respective vehicular camera from the respective vehicular camera to the central video/image processor. Image data captured by at least a forward-viewing camera carried to the central video/image processor via a respective bidirectional mono-coaxial cable may be processed at the image processor of the central video/image processor to detect an object present exterior of the vehicle or may be processed for a plurality of driver assistance systems of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A vehicular security system includes an alert device disposed in a vehicle equipped with the vehicular security system. Responsive to detection of a vehicle security threat, the alert device transmits a signal to a receiver remote from the vehicle. A jammer detector is disposed at the vehicle and operable to determine jamming of the signal transmitted by the alert device. Responsive to determination by the jammer detector of jamming of transmission of the signal transmitted by the alert device, the vehicular security system at least temporarily disables at least one vehicle access function to reduce likelihood of a break in of the vehicle while the signal transmitted by the alert device is being jammed.

Each of the cameras has an LVDS chip and connects with a control via a respective mono coaxial cable. Each mono coaxial cable carries via LVDS image data captured by the respective camera.     Abstract: A vision system for a vehicle includes multiple cameras disposed at a vehicle each having a field of view exterior of the vehicle. A display device is operable to display, for viewing by a driver of the vehicle, at least one of (a) video images captured by at least some of the cameras and (b) a composite image formed from image data captured by at least some of the cameras. The image data captured by at least some of the cameras is sent to a central video/image processor and the sent image data is substantially unmodified and is as captured by the respective ones of the camera or cameras. At least one of the cameras may have a tunable lens. The camera may provide almost raw image data to the display device and a graphic engine may run as a routine at the display device.
