Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein include a diagnostic substrate, comprising a baseplate, and a first plurality of image sensors on the baseplate, where the first plurality of image sensors are oriented horizontal to the baseplate. In an embodiment, the diagnostic substrate further comprises a second plurality of image sensors on the baseplate, where the second plurality of image sensors are oriented at a non-orthogonal angle to the baseplate. In an embodiment, the diagnostic substrate further comprises a printed circuit board (PCB) on the baseplate, and a controller on the baseplate, where the controller is communicatively coupled to the first plurality of image sensors and the second plurality of image sensors by the PCB. In an embodiment, the diagnostic substrate further comprises a diffuser lid over the baseplate, the PCB, and the controller.

Abstract: A preferred system and method for displaying a building information model includes a system administrator, and a headset unit removably attached to a construction hardhat via a set of clips. The headset further includes a set of stereo cameras. The cameras capture an image of the construction site to orient the user view and overlay an image. A position of the headset is determined relative to a registration marker using the cameras and motion sensors. The overlayed image is projected to the display based on the position and orientation of the headset.

Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a product transfer apparatus is provided. The product transfer apparatus includes a holder unit for holding a product, an arm unit for moving the holder unit to a stock shelf and a display shelf, a first image capture unit for capturing an image of the display shelf, a second image capture unit for capturing an image of the stock shelf, and a control unit for controlling operation of the arm unit, the holder unit, and the first and second image capture units. The control unit is configured to identify a replenishment target product as a product required to be replenished on the display shelf, based on display shelf capture image data generated by image capturing of the display shelf by the first image capture unit, and identify a position of a stock product corresponding to the replenishment target product in the stock shelf capture image data, based on shelf capture image data generated by image capturing of the stock shelf by the second image capture unit.

Abstract: A motor vehicle includes a left side view camera attached to the left lateral side of the body and having a field of view in a rearward direction. A right side view camera is attached to the right lateral side of the body and has a field of view in a rearward direction. There is a right back up camera and a left back up camera. An optics module receives resulting video signals and produces light fields such that the light fields are reflected off of windows of the motor vehicle and are then visible to a driver of the motor vehicle as virtual images.

Abstract: A method for positioning of cameras on an object that enables accurate rendering of the scene around the object on a dome accurately in real time. The method involves providing a 3D model of the object having a surface, and selecting locations on the surface where the cameras are to be placed to provide a camera rig. The choice of locations is such that every camera has a field of view that overlaps with at least one other camera. The cameras are designated as Direct View Camera (DVC) or a Secondary View Camera (SVC). The method to render a virtual scene includes providing a projection rig that includes a plurality of projectors within a hollow half-sphere, wherein the hollow half-sphere includes an inner surface and an outer surface. Each of the plurality of projectors is designated as a Direct View Projector (DVP) or a Secondary View Projector (SVP).

Abstract: An exemplary image viewing system includes a display device configured to emit visible light representative of an image provided for display by the image viewing system, an infrared light source configured to emit infrared light, a viewing lens, and a black glass mirror provided between the infrared light source and the viewing lens. The black glass mirror comprises black glass and a coating on an outer surface of the black glass. The coating is configured to reflect a first portion of the visible light emitted from the display device towards the viewing lens, pass a second portion of the visible light emitted from the display device to the black glass, and pass a portion of the infrared light emitted from the infrared light source toward the viewing lens. The black glass is configured to pass the portion of the infrared light and absorb the second portion of the visible light.

Abstract: An imaging system capture images of products on shelves in a minimally invasive way. The images can be processed to assess restocking needs and other information. Abstract: Presenting an image of a scene may include capturing an image of a scene by a camera of an electronic device, wherein the electronic device comprises the camera and a display, and wherein the camera and the display have a first spatial relationship, determining a second spatial relationship between a viewpoint and the display of the electronic device, warping the image to obtain an image of a first portion of the scene based on the first spatial relationship and the second spatial relationship, and presenting the warped image on the display, wherein, from the viewpoint, the image of the first portion of the scene is substantially contiguous with a second portion of the scene visible outside an edge of the electronic device.
