Abstract: A method of a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback mechanism includes receiving at a user equipment (UE) one or more first downlink control informations (DCIs) associated with first downlink transmissions belonging to a first HARQ-ACK feedback group. One of the first DCIs requests one or more second HARQ-ACK feedback groups to be acknowledged over a HARQ-ACK transmission opportunity (TxOP). A HARQ-ACK feedback for the first HARQ-ACK feedback group and the one or more second HARQ-ACK feedback groups is transmitted over the HARQ-ACK TxOP.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE receives, from a base station, one or more downlink reference signals on an unlicensed carrier. The UE determines that the base station occupies the unlicensed carrier for a predetermined first channel occupancy time based on the one or more downlink reference signals. The UE receives, on the unlicensed carrier and in the predetermined first channel occupancy time, a control burst including a plurality of down link control channels. The UE attempts to decode a first down link control channel directed to the UE from the control burst.

Abstract: Techniques and examples of channel multiplexing within interlace for New Radio (NR) unlicensed spectrum (NR-U) operation are described. An apparatus (e.g., user equipment (UE)) determines which sub-interlace of multiple sub-interlaces in each of a plurality of interlaces is assigned to the apparatus. The apparatus then performs an uplink (UL) transmission to a wireless network in an NR-U using the assigned sub-interlace in each of the plurality of interlaces. Each of the plurality of interlaces may be divided into respective multiple sub-interlaces with channel multiplexing.

Abstract: Techniques, schemes and examples pertaining to sequence design for synchronization and device identification in mobile communication systems are described. The processor then transmits a signal comprising one or more of the signature sequences to a receiving device via a wireless channel. Each signature sequence of the set of signature sequences identifies the apparatus.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide an apparatus that includes a baseband processing circuit and a transmitting circuit. The baseband processing circuit is configured to encode a reference signal based on a specific sequence to generate a digital stream. The specific sequence has non-zero values at selected positions, and the number of coincidences of non-zero value positions between the specific sequence and a shifted copy of the specific sequence is smaller than a threshold. The transmitting circuit is configured to transmit wireless signals in response to the digital stream.

The transmitter transmits the time domain waveform.

The soft syndrome former corresponds to a shaping code applied at the transmitter. The receiver recovers bits represented by the constellation symbol based on the first soft output and the third soft output.

The apparatus determines that a transmission opportunity (TXOP) follows the indication responsive to the detecting. The apparatus then receives a downlink (DL) transmission in the NR-U from the base station during the TXOP.
