In some example embodiments, there may be provided a method that includes receiving, at the user equipment, configuration information to configure the user equipment to report information for beam grouping on measurements on at least one group of channel measurement resources; selecting, by the user equipment, at least one group from a plurality of groups of channel measurement resources, the selecting based on at least one rule provided by the configuration information; and reporting, to a network, information regarding the selected at least one group for the beam grouping. Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for beam prediction by a user equipment using angle assistance information are provided. For example, a method can include receiving assistance information from a network and measuring a plurality of reference signal transmissions from the network.
