Abstract: A surgical system for sealing a hollow organ, the surgical system including: a pair of electrodes; a memory storing data which include patterns corresponding to predetermined burst pressure value; an electrosurgical generator configured to generate a high frequency current for sealing the hollow organ; and one or more processors configured to: perform the sealing by application of the high frequency current through the hollow organ; measure impedance of the hollow organ between the pair of electrodes with time during the performing the sealing; subsequent to performing the sealing, classify parameters related to the impedance as one of patterns corresponding to predetermined burst pressure value according to the data; and estimate the burst pressure value of the hollow organ based on the one of patterns.

Abstract: In an energy treatment apparatus, maximum source electric power of source electric power output from an electric power source is defined, first energy is generated by supplying first driving electric power to a first energy generator due to the source electric power, and second energy is generated by supplying second driving electric power to a second energy generator due to the source electric power. A controller keep the sum of the first driving electric power and the second driving electric power that are supplied per unit time less than or equal to the maximum source electric power of the electric power source continuously with time.

Abstract: A treatment system comprises a first power supply apparatus and a second power supply apparatus each connectable with a surgical device and a neutral electrode, the first power supply apparatus being electrically connected with the second power supply apparatus, the treatment system treating a living tissue while performing transmission and reception of information between the first and second power supply apparatuses, wherein, in a case where the neutral electrode is connected to only one of the first and second power supply apparatuses, an output of the surgical device connected to the second power supply apparatus is inhibited during an output of the surgical device connected to the first power supply apparatus, and the output of the surgical device connected to the first power supply apparatus is inhibited during the output of the surgical device connected to the second power supply apparatus.
