    Abstract: An endoscope system includes a light source that emits lights with first to n-th wavelengths, a lens that makes the lights with the first to n-th wavelengths parallel lights, a diffractive optical element (DOE) that converges components of the lights with the first to n-th wavelengths, the components being included in the parallel lights, into first to n-th linear lights at mutually different positions, a slit that projects, onto a subject, first to n-th pattern lights based on the first to n-th linear lights, an imager that captures, as one-frame image, an image of the subject onto which the first to n-th pattern lights are projected, and a processor being configured to calculate a distance to the subject or a shape of the subject based on the image captured by the imager.

    Abstract: A magnetic field sensor system includes a one-axis magnetic field generator that generates a magnetic field, three or more three-axis magnetic field detectors that detect a magnetic field for each axis and are arranged on a substantially straight line, and a calculator that calculates, from a detection result of the magnetic field, a spatial position or a spatial direction of the one-axis magnetic field generator. The calculator selects two or more three-axis magnetic field detectors, which generate no symmetry of magnetic fields, based on a preset judgment standard of symmetry of magnetic fields, and calculates the spatial position or the spatial direction of the one-axis magnetic field generator, based on detection results of the magnetic field between the selected two or more three-axis magnetic field detectors and the one-axis magnetic field generator.

    Abstract: A curvature sensor includes a light source, a flexible light guide including cores, and FBG sensors that are provided in the cores and constitute FBG sensor groups at predetermined positions at predetermined positions along longitudinal axes of the cores. The curvature sensor includes a detector that detects an optical spectrum of light from the FBG sensors, and a processor that obtains a bend of the light guide. FBG sensors provided in a core include a first FBG sensor and a second FBG sensor next to it. The first and second FBG sensors include gratings having first and second pitches. The first pitch is shorter than the second pitch and is closer to the second pitch than other pitches of gratings of all FBG sensors that are provided in the core and include gratings having pitches shorter than the second pitch.

    Abstract: A bend information computation apparatus is to compute bend information representing a direction and a magnitude of bend of a target group including targets disposed at an identical position along a light guide. Each target modulates the intensity of guided light in accordance with the direction and magnitude of bend. The apparatus includes an input unit to be input detected light quantity information corresponding to each target, a storage to store a bend coefficient and intensity modulation information of each target, and a light quantity information relationship between the bend coefficient and intensity modulation information and the detected light quantity information, a first arithmetic operator to calculate light quantity variation information of each target, based on the detected light quantity information and light quantity information relationship, and a second arithmetic operator to calculate the bend information of the target group, based on the light quantity variation information and bend coefficient.

    Abstract: Provided is a light distribution inspection device capable of accurately and easily inspecting light quantity and luminous intensity distribution of light emitted from a light guide member.     Abstract: An optical device includes a light source unit and a body unit. The light source unit includes a first light source configured to emit first irradiation light, a second light source configured to emit second irradiation light, a light source control unit, and a light collecting unit. The body unit includes an insertion section. The insertion section includes a light guide member, an optical system, an optical filter, a first imager configured to output image information of a subject, and a second imager configured to output distance information from the optical system to the subject. In the second irradiation light, light intensity is temporally modulated, and the first irradiation light and the second irradiation light are emanated from the insertion section. First measurement light includes light in the same wavelength band as a part of the wavelength band of the first irradiation light, and second measurement light includes light in the same wavelength band as the wavelength band of the second irradiation light, and error information included in the distance information is reduced.
