    Abstract: Provided is a slide bearing capable of retaining strength while achieving weight reduction and cost-cutting.The slide bearing has an upper case (2) to be attached to an upper support for attaching a suspension to a vehicle body, a lower case (3) rotatably combined with the upper case (2), an annular center plate (4) located between the upper case (2) and the lower case (3), and an annular sliding sheet (5) located between the upper case (2) and the center plate (4). The lower case (3) has a lower case body (31) in a substantial cylindrical shape, a flange part (32) projecting radially outward from an outer peripheral surface of the lower case body (31), and hollow sections (321) formed on an outer peripheral surface of the flange part (32). A plurality of the hollow sections (321) are formed at equal intervals in a circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface of the flange part (32).

    Abstract: A thrust sliding bearing in which a dust cover that covers a piston rod of a strut type suspension can be securely and easily assembled to a lower case that is arranged under an upper case, and to provide the thrust sliding bearing whose mold structure for molding the lower case can be simple. In a thrust sliding bearing, a lower case, which rotatably slides around an axial center of an upper case, includes a plurality of upper tongues for engaging with at least a case-side protrusion of the upper case and a plurality of lower tongues for engaging with at least a cover-side protrusion of a dust cover, and the upper tongues and the lower tongues of the lower case protrude in the direction toward the axial center from an inner circumferential surface of a cylindrical portion provided in the lower case so as not to overlap each other in the direction of the axial center.

    Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to improve the driving stability of a vehicle in which a double wishbone type or multi-link type suspension is adopted. A double wishbone type suspension has a sliding bearing disposed between a coil spring provided coaxially with a shock absorber and an upper support for mounting the coil spring to the body of the vehicle along with the shock absorber, the sliding bearing permitting the coil spring and the upper support to rotate relative to each other. The sliding bearing permits the coil spring and the upper support to rotate relative to each other with torque lower than torque generated by the torsion of the coil spring caused by the load of the vehicle acting on a damper assembly.
