    摘要: A spring damper bearing includes a bearing cap, a guide ring and a thrust bearing. The bearing cap and the guide ring are connected together and surround the thrust bearing. The bearing cap includes an annular main body portion and a barrier part which is located on an inner circumferential side of the main body portion. The barrier part has an annular shape and includes an outer circumferential end connected to the main body portion and an inner circumferential end which extends out from the outer circumferential end and is away from the main body portion. The inner circumferential end is nearer than the outer circumferential end to the lower axial side and the inner radial side of the spring damper bearing.

The top mount component can generally be configured to attach to a car body. The strut bearing assembly can include a guide ring including a guide sleeve configured to provide an interface for a shock absorber spring. The guide ring can define a second bearing pocket half dimensioned to receive a second portion of a bearing assembly.

    摘要: A steering system includes an arm, a knuckle, a joint, and a steering sensor. The arm defines a first passage. The knuckle has a knuckle arm defining a second passage. The joint has a ball portion and a shaft portion extending. The ball portion is disposed within the first passage and the shaft portion is disposed within the second passage. The ball portion defines a conical recess that has an opening at an upper end of the ball portion and terminates inside the ball portion with a pocket. The steering sensor has a driveshaft extending along a longitudinal axis into the conical recess. The driveshaft includes a head that engages with the pocket. The ball portion is configured to pivot within the first passage relative to the longitudinal axis and the head. The joint and the driveshaft are configured to rotate together about the longitudinal axis as the knuckle is turned.

    摘要: A ball joint assembly includes a stud member connectable to a first vehicle suspension component and a cup member connectable to a second vehicle suspension component. The stud member includes a shaft portion defining a longitudinal axis, and a ball portion extending longitudinally from one end of the stud. The cup member is a two-piece cup comprising a cup base and a cup cap, with the two pieces being connected to hold the stud ball therebetween. The cup base has castle teeth, and the cup cap may have holes for set screws that interlock with the castle teeth to allow adjustment of the tightness of the ball and cup and to lock the ball into position in the cup.
