    Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to improve the driving stability of a vehicle in which a double wishbone type or multi-link type suspension is adopted. A double wishbone type suspension has a sliding bearing disposed between a coil spring provided coaxially with a shock absorber and an upper support for mounting the coil spring to the body of the vehicle along with the shock absorber, the sliding bearing permitting the coil spring and the upper support to rotate relative to each other. The sliding bearing permits the coil spring and the upper support to rotate relative to each other with torque lower than torque generated by the torsion of the coil spring caused by the load of the vehicle acting on a damper assembly.

    Abstract: Provided is a slide bearing capable of retaining strength while achieving weight reduction and cost-cutting.The slide bearing has an upper case (2) to be attached to an upper support for attaching a suspension to a vehicle body, a lower case (3) rotatably combined with the upper case (2), an annular center plate (4) located between the upper case (2) and the lower case (3), and an annular sliding sheet (5) located between the upper case (2) and the center plate (4). The lower case (3) has a lower case body (31) in a substantial cylindrical shape, a flange part (32) projecting radially outward from an outer peripheral surface of the lower case body (31), and hollow sections (321) formed on an outer peripheral surface of the flange part (32). A plurality of the hollow sections (321) are formed at equal intervals in a circumferential direction on the outer peripheral surface of the flange part (32).

    Abstract: A damper includes a vessel for accommodating a viscous fluid in its interior; hampering walls for hampering the flow of the viscous fluid; a partitioning member which partitions each of interior portions into two chambers and is provided rotatably; a communicating hole formed in the partitioning member so as to allow the two chambers to communicate with each other via a variable passage whose passage cross-sectional area changes; a flow limiter to limit the flow of the viscous fluid in the chamber into the chamber through the communicating hole, when the internal pressure of the viscous fluid accommodated in the chamber has exceeded a fixed value on the basis of the rotation of the partitioning member; and a resilient structure to resiliently urge the partitioning member in a direction with respect to the vessel.
