Abstract: A system for detecting a state of a brake of a conveying device. The system includes a resistance detection component for detecting a resistance of the brake; a voltage acquisition component for acquiring a pick voltage of the brake; a memory for storing instructions; and a processor configured to execute the instructions. When executing the instructions, the processor calculates a temperature of the brake based on an initial resistance of the brake and the resistance of the brake detected by the resistance detection circuit; determines the state of the brake based on the temperature calculated and the picks voltage acquired by the voltage acquisition component, and generates a signal indicating the state.
