The brake disc release device comprises: an actuating mechanism; a gear connected to a first end of the actuating mechanism; a first slider capable of sliding along a first guide piece and comprising a rack portion for engagement with the gear and a first wedge portion; a second slider capable of sliding along a second guide piece and comprising a second wedge portion for engagement with the first wedge portion of the first slider; and a pulling cable having a first end connected to the second slider and a second end connected to the brake disc.

摘要: Brake discs, systems, and methods may include a brake disc and a brake drum. In various embodiments, the brake disc includes a central hub, configured to engage with an axial shaft. The brake disc includes protrusions, each of which is coupled to the central hub and extends perpendicularly from the central hub. The brake disc includes expansion components, each of which is coupled to the central hub at two locations. Each expansion component surrounds an outer periphery of one of the protrusions. The expansion components define a segmented periphery configured as a braking surface. The brake drum is configured to have an inner diameter that is larger than an outer diameter of the brake disc. The outer diameter of the brake disc is defined by the segmented periphery, such that an inner surface of the brake drum is concentric around the segmented periphery of the brake disc.

摘要: An expansion tank includes a tank body mounted inside a housing forming a sump, where the tank body defines an internal expansion volume. A fluid inlet tube on the tank body has an upper end open to the sump and a lower end open to the internal expansion volume. A single 2-way check valve is located at the lower end of the tube, and fluid enters the expansion volume when the pressure in the sump exceeds the pressure in the expansion volume by a first predetermined amount, and fluid exits the expansion volume to the sump when the pressure in the expansion volume exceeds the pressure in the sump by a second predetermined amount. The check valve may be a combination duckbill valve and umbrella valve. The tank body may include a cover on which the inlet tube is formed.

摘要: A manual release device for a parking lock mechanism includes an operating lever, a cable and an idle motion mechanism. The idle motion mechanism includes a body portion, a lever provided on the body portion, a helical compression spring, and a contact portion provided on the shaft. The cable is coupled to the lever. A distal end of the lever is arranged below a turning center of the lever. The parking lock mechanism is configured, when the parking lock mechanism is in a locked state, to be switched into an unlocked state as the body portion contacts the contact portion to cause the shaft to turn when the lever is turned against an urging force of the urging member as a result of operation of the operating lever to cause the body portion to turn from the normal position to the actuated position.

摘要: A parking lock-releasing device for a vehicle, which is capable of improving workability in manually releasing a parking lock while ensuring sealing performance of an outer casing, and easily holding the locking released state. The locking release operation section includes a base having a hollow cylindrical guide portion and concentrically continuous with a front end of the outer casing, with a female screw formed on an inner peripheral surface thereof, and an operating section body which is screwed via a male screw formed on an outer peripheral surface thereof into the female screw of the guide portion, closes the guide portion, holds a front end of the inner cable, and when releasing the locking, is rotatingly operated in a predetermined direction relative to the base, to thereby cause the inner cable to slide to be pulled in the direction away from the parking mechanism.

摘要: A parking brake for a railway vehicle includes a pneumatic cylinder having a cylinder wall, a first wall opposite a second wall, and a piston movable within the pneumatic cylinder. At least one spring extends between the piston and the second wall for biasing the piston against the first wall. A gear box is fixed relative to the second wall and includes a hand wheel. A spindle is operatively connected to the gear box to affect movement of a manual reset mechanism having a threaded shaft and a ball screw nut rotatably engaged with the threaded shaft. A pushrod is connected to the manual reset mechanism and extends through the cylinder and the first wall. When the hand wheel is rotated, the manual reset mechanism is rotated to cause the pushrod to move relative to the piston corresponding to the direction of the rotation of the hand wheel.

摘要: A clutch mechanism includes a bolt threadably received by a drive shaft and configured to secure the blade on an inner washer disposed about the drive shaft. The clutch mechanism also includes a spring assembly that is generally annularly disposed around the bolt. When the spring assembly is compressed, the spring assembly is configured to grip the blade inner washer and the spring assembly. At least one shallow pocket and at least one deep pocket are disposed in a lower surface of an upper retainer, and at least one geometric spacer extends from the spring assembly. In the coupled condition, the geometric spacer is engaged with the shallow pocket, and in the uncoupled condition, the plug structure is engaged with the deep pocket.

摘要: The invention discloses a friction simulating device, comprising: a first driving shaft, a first driving gear, a second driving gear, a second driving shaft, a plurality of friction plates and a driving mechanism. The first driving gear is coaxially fixedly connected to the first driving shaft. The second driving gear is located on a radial outer side of the first driving gear and is provided coaxially with the first driving gear. The second driving shaft is coaxially fixedly connected to the second driving gear. The plurality of friction plates being provided subsequently between the first driving gear and the second driving gear in a direction of an axis of the first driving gear, wherein some of the friction plates are axially movably connected to the first driving gear in a circumferential direction, and the other friction plates are axially movably connected to the second driving gear in the circumferential direction. The friction simulating device is able to simulate the friction applied to the wheels of the vehicle by the ground.

摘要: An expansion tank includes a tank body mounted inside a housing forming a sump, and defining an internal expansion volume. A fluid inlet opening in the tank body is in communication with the sump and the expansion volume. A combination valve may be disposed on a lower end of the tank to control fluid flow between the sump and the expansion volume. The valve may be a combination duckbill valve and umbrella valve. Fluid enters the expansion volume through the umbrella valve when sump pressure exceeds expansion volume pressure by a first predetermined amount, and fluid exits the expansion volume through the duckbill valve to the sump when expansion volume pressure exceeds sump pressure by a second predetermined amount. The tank body may include a cover on which an inlet tube is formed.

摘要: A brake pad retractor system, comprising, a torsional mount and a torsion arm having an angular relation with the torsional mount, wherein the torsion arm is sprung responsively to at least some movement of a brake pad and the torsional mount being operative such that upon movement of a brake pad by a first distance, the torsion arm is sprung and communicates an action upon the brake pad through a contact between the torsion arm and the brake pad, the communicated action sufficient to positively retract the brake pad upon release of the brake system, the torsional mount further operative such that upon further movement of a brake pad beyond the first distance the angular relation between the torsion arm and the torsional mount is adjusted responsively to the further movement. Further aspects include a novel a brake caliper and method.
