    Abstract: An image capture device according to the present disclosure includes: a lens optical system L; an image sensor N on which light that has passed through the lens optical system L is incident and which includes at least a plurality of first pixels and a plurality of second pixels; and an array of optical elements K which is arranged between the lens optical system and the image sensor. The lens optical system has a first optical region D1 which transmits mostly light vibrating in the direction of a first polarization axis and a second optical region D2 which transmits mostly light vibrating in the direction of a second polarization axis that is different from the direction of the first polarization axis. The array of optical elements makes the light that has passed through the first optical region D1 incident on the plurality of first pixels and also makes the light that has passed through the second optical region D2 incident on the plurality of second pixels.

    Abstract: A camera system includes an image sensor, a wavelength filter, and an imaging optical system. The image sensor has an image capturing plane. The imaging optical system is configured to have light coming from a subject passed through the wavelength filter and imaged on the image capturing plane. The wavelength filter has a perpendicularly incident region and an obliquely incident region. On the perpendicularly incident region, a principal ray, which has passed through the imaging optical system, is incident perpendicularly. On the obliquely incident region, a principal ray, which has passed through the imaging optical system, is incident obliquely. The image sensor has sensitivity to a light ray having a predetermined wavelength. The light ray having the predetermined wavelength is transmitted at a higher transmittance through at least a part of the obliquely incident region than through the perpendicularly incident region.

    Abstract: A display system of one aspect according to the present disclosure includes: a display unit; a first optical member; and a second optical member. The display unit includes a display surface for displaying an image. The first optical member includes a first reflective surface for reflecting rays of light constituting the image.     Abstract: A display system includes: a display that emits light corresponding to image information; a half mirror that receives the light emitted, reflects, as reflected light, a first component of the light received, and transmits a second component different from the first component; and a first reflecting mirror having a concave surface that receives and reflects the reflected light toward the half mirror. The half mirror includes a first retardation film, a first support substrate, and a reflective polarizing film stacked in this order from a side on which the light emitted is received. The first retardation film changes a phase of the light received. The first support substrate is light-transmissive. The reflective polarizing film reflects a first polarized component and transmits a second polarized component different from the first polarized component.

    Abstract: A display system includes: a display device; a reflection optical system; a housing; and a shield member. The reflection optical system includes at least a last reflective member on which light, emerging from a display screen of the display device, is incident either directly or indirectly. The shield member is held by the housing to assume either a shielding state or an unshielding state. The shielding state is a state where the shield member at least partially cuts off light incident on, or reflected from, the last reflective member. The unshielding state is a state where the shielding state is canceled. The shield member in the shielding state reflects, toward the viewer's eyes, external light impinging on the housing. The housing has a holding structure to hold the shield member, no matter whether the shield member assumes the shielding state or the unshielding state.
