摘要: A bed comprises substrate support members, each including a load bearing and a base configured to provide contact with a floor. The load bearing member is configured to move vertically relative to the base, while the base and the load bearing member are configured to fit together to maintain lateral alignment of the base and the load bearing member. A load sensor is positioned between the base and the load bearing member, the load bearing member configured to transmit a load from the substrate to the load sensor. A printed circuit board is in communication with the load sensor. A controller is in communication with the printed circuit board of each substrate support member and is configured to receive and process data output by the printed circuit boards.

摘要: A system for monitoring autoregulation includes an oxygen saturation sensor configured to obtain an oxygen saturation signal indicative of an oxygen saturation of a patient. The system also includes a controller having a processor configured to receive a blood pressure signal indicative of a blood pressure of the patient and the oxygen saturation signal, determine a change in the oxygen saturation signal and a change in the blood pressure signal over a period of time, and provide an indication that the patient's autoregulation is intact if the oxygen saturation changes by more than an oxygen saturation threshold and if the blood pressure changes by less than a blood pressure threshold during the period of time.

摘要: Systems, methods, and non-transitory computing device readable media for determining an individualized orthodontic treatment index. One embodiment includes generating a target dental model by modifying an initial dental model, graphically marking dental references on the target dental model including assigning contact points between adjacent first and second teeth of the target dental model, generating a treatment outcome dental model representing the patient's dentition after at least a portion of the orthodontic treatment has been completed, mapping the dental references marked on the target dental model to the treatment outcome dental model, and calculating an individualized treatment index score for the treatment outcome dental model according to one or more differences between the target dental model and the treatment outcome dental model.

摘要: There is provided an apparatus (100) for detecting subjects with disordered breathing. The apparatus (100) comprises one or more processors (102) configured to acquire an acoustic signal from an acoustic sensor (108) in an environment, determine a plurality of acoustic signal components from the acquired acoustic signal and determine a plurality of signal envelopes or energy signals based on the acoustic signal components. One or more processors (102) are also configured to analyze the determined plurality of signal envelopes or energy signals to detect whether there are one or more subjects in the environment with disordered breathing.

摘要: A system which includes an apparatus for generating radio frequency scanning data which includes a transmitter for transmitting radio waves below the skin surface of a person and a two-dimensional array of receive antennas for receiving the radio waves, including a reflected portion of the transmitted radio waves that is reflected from a blood vessel of the person. The transmitter includes at least two different polarization orientations and the receive antennas have polarization orientations that correspond to the transmit antennas. The wave signal is compared to known standard waveforms, and similar waveforms are input into a machine learning algorithm to determine one or more health parameters of the person. The health parameters are recorded and may be later synchronized with a video recording. Alerts may warn health professionals when parameters are outside normal range. The health parameters may be used to direct a device.

摘要: A method of improved surgical care with real-time devices in which a real-time glucose monitoring device and real-time non-glucose devices measure a patient's physiological parameters during surgery. The physiological parameters are analyzed, and the monitoring device reports risks in surgery, including warnings, recommendations, delayed healing, increased wound infection, kidney issues, heart problems, lung issues, neurological complications, or stroke.
